Madge didn't have the support of management.

They were self-serving.

Imagine Madge and Richo... no one would mess with this weapon of a club.

Only issue Spartan was Madge inherited a busted salary cap, but he just couldn't seem to land any big players. I'm not putting that on him, imo the managers were telling their clients to steer clear because of the on again off again turmoil up top and because once the board panicked who knows what coach they would have. Whether now with our new board and Richo things would be different iv no idea.

Sheens remains head of football, either Madge steps up or is replaced and we land a decent coach who can bring Benji through as an assistant and we possibly miss all 3 spoons.

Of all the dumb things that anger me about this club Sheens axing Madge, saying none of the many candidates were suitable and hiring himself is the worst. You wouldn't write that into a trashy TV show because it isn't believable enough.
