He must have used his knife on someone else and left it in that night😂😂 I’ve got a photo of him and me after a few beers with our arms around our shoulders having a joke.
Not as bad as he’s portrayed.

Totally agree Tucker he has what he needs Richo has seen to that, the team isn't complete yet but is much more serviceable than last year's only the 2nd row and a centre to sort out. Imo if there isn't markedly improved consistent performances we need a new coach. I don't mean we win 4 more than last year, I mean we are in the grind every week with every team, obviously barring an injury crisis. Only real sticking point will be about how many players have signed to play under him, whether punting him will tear the dressing room apart. Iv got no doubt Richo will know what to do, he's been here before. I hope Benji can lead us to the promised land, it would make him an awesome Tigers folk hero. But I'm not 100 percent sold yet. There’s no excuse. Getting the spoon in 24 was a disaster that should have his papers marked.
He’s going to need a very good start to keep his job. I hope he can do it because I like him. Having said that, we can’t keep him on as coach if the results are poor, just because of who he is.
We all want the same thing, we just try to get there in our minds through diffrent routes.I agree with much of what you say Tuck, the only thing I can say is that a lot of the niggle and condescending comments toward forum members is that they have a far differing opinion or view how the team should play or recruitment should be done..
My personal take is that we are all different as human beings and our personallities differ, this is what makes us who we are...
On the other hand we can still remain respectful with whatever topic is discussed and have the dignity to respect others with differing views ..
I must say I have had plenty of critics on this forum.but I really dont care because I also have many good hearted and intelligent people on here that make this forum a very unique and great place to be...cheers mate...
We have a decent roster now, still issues, but decent. If he can coach we should win at least 5/10, and that my line. 4/10 and the media will be all over us anyway, but I don’t reckon they’ll sack him mid season, and unless there’s a really good coach to walk in then there’s probably no point rushing. I’m hoping Benji wins more than five and turns out to be good. There’s no excuse. Getting the spoon in 24 was a disaster that should have his papers marked.

My greatest achievement is living in the heads of posters like you
…the only time i ever think of you is if I ever strain too hard on the toilet
That’s a really interesting thought. On face value I’d say no, but don’t discount Ivan’s desire to coach Nathan, he probably would have left when he had the chance to coach himi often wonder ,if we never made a play for Nathan, would Penrith of made a play for Ivan. Things may have been different .
Madge didn't have the support of management. With a pretty run of the mill first grade squad Tucker he had us playing way above our weight. Only coach we ever had that taught us how to defend and grind out games. The start of the first season after his first preseason with us, we were the toughest Tigers team I remember. Cleary left once the offer came from Fletcher, no doubt because of Nathan but also he was smart enough to see the dysfunction at the top of the club, I reckon if he had stayed and stuck it out for another 2 seasons and developed some of our young guys coming through in his style of football we would have become an awesome team and a destination for players, but as is said often what happened, happened and we struggled to move on because Cleary could work fine with the guys he signed but they didn't suit Madge and stuffed the cap for him for a few years.
Haven’t they been together before? What was that result?Madge didn't have the support of management.
They were self-serving.
Imagine Madge and Richo... no one would mess with this weapon of a club.
I like how it’s subtly shifted from the original point. People were very defensive of our chances in 2024 during the pre season. The forum was all in on Sezar, Sullivan and co and any contrarian opinion copped the pile on treatment. That’s a fact.It gives me hope GNR if you can get a GF so can I...
Yea I used to think of him as the lead singer of Wolfmother...Sideshow Bob, 😁 that was the first thing that came to my mind too.
So is that who he’s talking about?
Where’s he been lately? Other than on the Simpsons trying to kill Bart?

The internet is just a gathering of minds ,,which is basically a cesspit of thoughts, He/She/Others that speak loudest think in some strange way they will be heard .Listening is a lost art , so is the art of conversation,Mate I can't believe the niggle that happens on here at times what was that old Kamahl quote, why are people so unkind, you see the amount of forum guest's vs the amount online members they won't join the forum scared of being crucified if they post something wrong.
Stefano was an absolute lazy pillow last year. He won't play NRL for Melbourne if he puts in displays like 2024. Bateman was also pathetic before he spat the dummy and walked out. Olam was busted all yr.lol what? This is a stupid post mate.
Klemmer, Utoikamanu, Papali’i, Bateman, Sam Fainu, Seyfarth, Pole, Twal, Galvin, Olam, Bula….
They won a premiership then declined rapidly before Richo sacked himHaven’t they been together before? What was that result?
Why was he a lazy pillow? If he turns into a beast this year, it won’t be a great reflection on us. Same goes with Ice.Stefano was an absolute lazy pillow last year. He won't play NRL for Melbourne if he puts in displays like 2024. Bateman was also pathetic before he spat the dummy and walked out. Olam was busted all yr.
They are still first graders.Stefano was an absolute lazy pillow last year. He won't play NRL for Melbourne if he puts in displays like 2024. Bateman was also pathetic before he spat the dummy and walked out. Olam was busted all yr.
Wolfmother 🤘🏻Yea I used to think of him as the lead singer of Wolfmother...
Wolfmother, a damn awesome band and incredible live before they were famous. ...
Matt King, a powerful winger. I remember watching him on a few international matches and he seemed to just miss the line. IMHO not a good coach because he relied on his physical power to win that wing contest. Later when he moved to Center he did not do much at all.
At least for now, love to have a game of poker with RichoI think richo took on the mentor role and I believe he thinks that is all benji needs
You lost me at “won a premiership”They won a premiership then declined rapidly before Richo sacked him
