Nothing else on so watched Thunder vs Stars
Basically Thunder batting was ordinary eg Ollie Davies top scored with 30 something but was as scratchy as hell .Took him about 20 balls to middle one
Reason Thunder won was 2 things
Nathan McAndrew who took 5-16 ( must be close to best figures ever )
David Warner captaincy and very astute field placing
Tanveer Sangha getting 2 wickets in consecutive balls being Maxxy and Curran also helped .Tom Andrews a South Australian grade cricketer has a lot of talent .The Sydney Smash being 2 teams with local ,interstate and overseas players means I can't get enthusiastic about who wins
Next Wed test Sri Lanka vs Australia gets me excited and guess what the entire Australian team is Australian
This franchise thing doesn't grab me but understand that players earn big money playing it and secure future for their families !
 
Very annoying seeing umpires always reviewing for run outs and stumpings that are clearly not out. This is meant to be a fast game and its a total waste of time. Why not have a system where the review happens in the background like in the NRL and EPL?
 
Our Aussie girls magnificent in demolishing England yet again
We put on 162 on a slow holding Adelaide oval pitch and bowled England all out for 90 ( only 3 more than their lowest score ever )
Mooney 94 not out alone bettered their total
Our fielding top class
So far 3x ODI's we win 3-0
3x T20's we win 3-0
That's a whitewash with the white ball
Just the test to come starting Thursday at the MCG day night pink ball

Fitness wise its like greyhounds racing clydesdales.Poms have had far to many deep fried Mars Bars and buckets of KFC.
 
He might not be the most popular player but I hope Davy wins it, I been cheering for him all season.
I still remember all the talk about this young kid who goes nuts at this new format, he drew a crowd from his first game and smashed 89 at 200.

As I post this the first over has gone for 23.
 
Thunder bat well 182 especially Davey and Jason Sangha 0-97 after 10 overs
Rest not so good 7-85 off last 10 BUT
THUNDER BOWLING IS TOTAL CRAP 0-62 OFF 3 OVERS
in 3 overs its seems game over !!!
Thunder fielding is shocking to boot
Mitch Owen 51 off 16 balls
I have never seen such terrible bowling and fielding
0-74 in 4 overs
If thunder got 250 it wouldn't be enough !!!
 
How's this
First ball McAndrew gives away 5 wides and first over 23 runs
His figures 2.1 overs 0-39
Wes Agar 2 overs 0-40
Got to be the worst performance i can remember in the field
Result is done with almost 6 overs to spare
Thank God this " franchise " thing over
Now for some real international cricket 3 pm Wed
