What I would like everyone to remember is Twal and Seyfarth have been playing with the wooden spooners which in turn doesn’t allow us to see their potential.
I remember Shaun Blore for one getting rubbished constantly here but as soon as he moved to a better team he improved out of sight.
What I do think is that either of them would struggle to make another team’s starting side and the fact that one might start for us is a concern as I would only be playing one of them from the bench and hopefully never be in the position that we need both in our 17 on the same day.

Time will tell, but I am prepared to give him first crack (not that there is much of a choice).

Agree Jolls, reckon defensively he's pretty much there already (discipline aside).
Attack wise he just needs to run the kamikaze line against the grain, over and over again.
And run it at maximum effort even when he knows he's not getting the pill.

Exactly, simplify what he has to do outside a player that can put him into space. Do it well and consistently. All you can ask.

Twal and Seyfarth both try as hard as they can and put in maximum effort. Yet, one is undeniably a great defender and is well disciplined (Twal). The other is a terrible defender and poorly disciplined (Seyfarth). So why does Seyfarth constantly get a free pass on this forum for being a liability, yet Twal who is seemly less of a liability get trashed more than Seyfarth? Not a dig just generally curious.

Because no upside on twal. Seyfarth is younger and has more upside as he matures as a player. This has been seen continuously in young forwards. Twal is a plodder no question about it. I also don’t believe u watch closely twals defensive weak points. He has little line speed, often standing back as the line goes up. Yes he makes the tackle as they always run at him, but this causes a roll in for the opposition! As the rest of the team needs to get back twice as far because twal is bludging. He looks good on stats, but stats do t show u everything…

and yet some on here , don’t want a bar of lodge or molo , both have mongrel in them , and I quess Richo and benji are in the same boat , we will never get out of the bottom untill we shake of this , oh we can’t have him or him
 
Seyfarth's best season was for the Magpies as an edge running angles.
At the time I thought he had a bright future if he could put some muscle on.
Fast forward to now where he's been progressively worse every year and still isn't physically able to compete in the NRL because he seemingly has made no effort to build his fragile teen boy body.

Not by me,
I'd have kept Blore over both of them.

From memory,
most of the criticism around Blore was about staying on the park.

Blore was always gunna be a decent footballer, injuries hampered his development here. I wouldn’t be surprised if he ends up a 10yr NRL player who never makes reps.
What I find really strange is the Baby Giraffe v the Lebanese Sloth debate.
Only wooden spooners or a vet would be having this debate. If you could combine them, they would make one good footballer.

I think the reason why people don't think we should sign Molo or Lodge - and the reason why the club has shown no interest in either of them - is that we already have enough cap room tied up in middles and it's not really a position of need. I mean, they could blow up the strategy just in order to get more dickheads in the building but I'm not sure how much it would help.
