When did Matamua have his chance ? 15 mins out of position in a jigsaw team coming last ?? FFS mate he is 20 yrs old .. 🤯

He’s not far off 22 and been playing ressies for 3 years already - I’m yet to see him have a game (in any grade) that indicates he’s anywhere near the regard he’s held in here.
Has been an absolute waste of a top grade spot for 3 years already.

Ps: if you’re in an NRL teams top 30 - that IS your chance.

Probably true that he has failed to live up to expectations, but that has a lot tn do with him always carrying a bit of extra condition which has prevented him from playing with the energy levels required.
He is apparently now much fitter than he has been over the past 3 seasons, so I think it’s fair to judge him on what he does this season starting from this coming weekend.

New season don't hold any grudges on previous performances, but him, Kit, Tumeth, Saukuru, Feledy and Sukkar have to start showing something to justify their top 30 spots.

You mean He’s been fat and unfit?

You say that likes it’s someone else’s fault!!

Luckily for him, he'll only be judged from the moment he realised he has pissed away the start of a promising career
(and not the last 3 years where he’s been taking the piss)

For every post I see about filling the top 30 with kids - this is exactly why it’s a stupid idea!! No one is earning a spot.
