Can Gus talk to TDS if he is still contracted for 2 years?Where there's smoke there's fire.
Gould denying it pretty much confirms it's true.
Nothing stopping them going to his fav restaurant for a catch upCan Gus talk to TDS if he is still contracted for 2 years?
What about golf, man that bores the crap out of me.Yes, but in spite of over 10 years of Pain and 3 years of Agony...
I hold hope that round 1 we can prove we have a side that will do something.
Even if we don't win and I see Romey and co put in, I will cheer and scream for my team again...
If we fold.... Going to watch Volleyball or something.
Lets see what the first 5 rounds bring.
TDS can go to market November 1st and haven't heard anything about him resigning with Tigers!Like Galvin Dogs can sign him from November 1st…. But you can bet your house that Gus has already signalled his intentions via a 3rd party to both….Richo and Benji know this but are at the mercy of the Agents… who are not interested in talking contract extension for now
The way he puts players through the shredder when not wanted you would expect the appeal to wear off sooner or later. If it is TDS I assume Richo will probably be having words to the NRL about anti-tampering as he said he would with Galvin.
I’m not particularly convinced TDS is going to move to the dogs. I’m pretty sure the club values him highly. He has a clear path to consistent starts in the NRL from at the very latest 2027 which is when his contract expires anyway (end 2026) so it’s not like another club could fast track him to first grade like Manly are planning to do with Large. He’s been given a captaincy role in the trial and the club likely views him as a future leader of this squad. Dogs already have Mahoney who is probably a top 5 hooker in the comp.
Additionally, dogs were in the market for a tonne of players in the off-season (including Terrell May) and they only got 1 because they “withdrew interest” (yeah right) from the others. I don’t think Gus is as much of a drawcard/master negotiator as he’s made out to be.
This guy puts in less than Doueihi...... there is next to nobody worthwhile available except Kai Pearce-Paul...
Do we have that kind of coin to throw at a centre? Can we throw a million at Joey Manu and get him back to league for the WT! His numbers are outrageous as a FLB plus a world class centre which we desperately need! The yardage game with Manu, Turuva and Skelton would be enormous 🔥
We need backrowers before a centreDo we have that kind of coin to throw at a centre?

Agree but don't know where they are coming from unless Richo can shake the tree a lot harder. We need backrowers before a centre
It's a fantasy signing he will end up back at the pea hens, besides what do we do with Bula, I know he needs to step up now. He's suggesting him as a fullback.
Joey amanuensis at fullback on 1mil isn't over the top money IMO
One who would appeal to Richo & Benji if he fell from the tree is Jordan Riki.Agree but don't know where they are coming from unless Richo can shake the tree a lot harder.
If you could prise him out of Queensland the sticking point, other teams from up there will have a crack at him if available, open to any reasonable 2RF target considering our depth. One who would appeal to Richo & Benji if he fell from the tree is Jordan Riki.
Someone of decent value has to be sacrificed at the Donkeys sooner or later.
The Benji NZ factor! If you could prise him out of Queensland the sticking point, other teams from up there will have a crack at him if available, open to any reasonable 2RF target considering our depth.
All good as long as they're not talking contracts or noone is asking anyone to break their contract. Of course if their meeting its obvious what's going on, but proving it is a completely diffrent story. Plus the fact N.R.L head office are absolutely useless when it comes to policing the salary cap and won't do any form of investigating unless the evidence falls into their lap.Maybe I misinterpreted the last few pages but The GM of another club is seen "having lunch" with one of our contracted players... I thought that was not on?
