Maybe I misinterpreted the last few pages but The GM of another club is seen "having lunch" with one of our contracted players... I thought that was not on?

All good as long as they're not talking contracts or noone is asking anyone to break their contract. Of course if their meeting its obvious what's going on, but proving it is a completely diffrent story. Plus the fact N.R.L head office are absolutely useless when it comes to policing the salary cap and won't do any form of investigating unless the evidence falls into their lap.

Yep exactly, and Riki fits our profile well - experienced for his age, international who young backrowers can learn off, runs very good lines & hits holes, fast, one of the better kick chasers going around.

Under contract until end of '27 but things can change under Madge.

yeah if it's the old madge won't take long to get under the team's skin, especially if he flogs them after a loss can't see how that would stay popular.

think about how good a coach he actually is - top 4 every year, with only Nico as a big "star" - and he did that all with having that croaky voice.

more impressive now i think about it

Craig Fitz is the real deal, probably better then Jason Ryles at the train hard and tough style of coaching.

At Easts he would apparently be always ready to wressle, anyone any time.

Cronulla haven't had super big names other then Nicho, and even then he was a good storm utility.

The big question for us is Royce Hunt. How will he go moving from a system like Cronulla's to our disorganised system? He is already a low minute player, will he perform or take the easy road.
