What song are you listening to?

Yesterday (Saturday) I listened to one of my all time favourite albums, "Rainbow Rising" by Richie Blackmore's Rainbow.

Ritchie has to be one of the best ever hard rock/metal guitarists and on this album has with him the late Cozy Powell my all time favourite drummer & the legendary late great Ronnie James Dio (RIP to both legends) on vocals. Dio is arguably the best ever hard rock/Heavy Metal vocalists. A very short man with an absolutely HUGE voice.

This track, "Stargazer" features in the most "reaction" videos on YouTube... Ronnie blows away opera singers, vocal coaches, and musicians who dissect the brilliance of the man. Do yourself a favour and have a listen to this:

About the only decent song to come on was the two hit wonder Billy Field with "You weren't in love with me", surrounded by shockers from the Nolan Sisters, The Swingers, Adam & The Ants & some obscure Aussie acts that everyone forgot about by 1984!!

I'm still putting myself through it just in case an old classic or two comes on. I'm a glutton for punishment 😂🤣

Adam Ant that brings back memories, what a true C Head act he was, disappeared off the face of the earth someone must have sprayed him with the Pea Beu, to whoever it was good job.
