We looked like a schoolboy team. Lucky we’ve got that super duper CoE gym to pump some iron and build ourselves up.One thing that stood out was the body size between the two teams , the dogs looked a lot bigger than the tigers
The only good thing about Voss talking was that it meant Cronk wasn’t.Used to really like Voss but he has degenerated into a complete dribbler
This so true we just don't have enough big players coming through compared to other teams, too many midgets we have a huge area why is there a lack of the bigger player. We looked like a schoolboy team. Lucky we’ve got that super duper CoE gym to pump some iron and build ourselves up.
Remember the old saying “ a good big team will invariably beat a good small team”,
Someone threw him a hospital ball early.Good and bad in that game.
Their team are comp winners in the lower grades, and we fairly held them without relying on mostly NRL players like, say, St George did against the rorters.
One kid that unfortunately did himself no favours is Tony Sukkar. Everything the poor bugger touched, turned to mud.
Happy to reserve judgement till next week when we have some go forward and creativity. I hope !
I’ll take Voss any day over Ginane. Warren Smith is the best though. The most balanced, just down the line. Have never really heard anyone say they dislike him. The fact he’s never over the top like virtually every other commentator, including the idiot who replaced Rabs, helps his likability. The only good thing about Voss talking was that it meant Cronk wasn’t.
Not sure what you’re saying -From the players we expect in our starting 13 week to week, I think we looked ok! The rest is just as expected for reserve grade.
I think Warren smith is a tigers fan, isn’t he?I’ll take Voss any day over Ginane. Warren Smith is the best though. The most balanced, just down the line. There were definitely similarities to 2024, like the lack of organisation in attack. I’m hoping Luai will help with this, although he shouldn’t need to scream at players to get them in to position.Granted, predominantly a team of reserve graders but looked alarmingly similar to 2024. To say otherwise is just wrong based solely off that trial.
Hopefully we’ll see something different this Friday!
Young guys that deserve a wrap,
Lachlan Broederlow looked very strong against the Bulldogs starters, kit Laulilii really grew in confidence looked very good running straight and hard.
Noah Johannssen looks a real prospect, hes raw and still a long way away, but he's one that i would be investing time in looks a goer to me
The boys playing with more freedom now that one person isn’t dominating every attacking play.
Take out his youthful errors, younger/less experience than Tim. I thought he was the better of the two.Noah has a few errors in him
Balmain fan in the dayI think Warren smith is a tigers fan, isn’t he?
Faataape is always in the mix of a try being scored
That's what trials are all about. Gauging what we have, who shines out.I really, really like Heath Mason. I don't know if he'll ever be a consistent and good first grade NRL player - and I certainly don't have a starting spot for him, but his attitude and hunger to be in anything and everything is really awesome to watch.
Skelton needs a spot in our side, and will be very useful with those carries.
got ambushed by a few supporters at the 15 minute mark, we looked in control of the game until then, did we win ,lolCame out on top today with 2 scored and 1 given, but he also threw the flick to assist another.
I thought No19 was everywhere in attack and defence [Broederlow]. A great young prospect!Wouldn’t take too much from this game overall. Was basically a Flegg game for the most part.
Kit and Tavana looked the best of the young guys.
Concerning that T. Johannssen was being out muscled by Flegg kids. Faataape still has work to do on defense.
TDS and Latu were both fairly quiet.
Skelton will be an asset starting sets and bringing the ball out of our own end.
That's the third time I've agreed with Tucker WowRoach knows his footy. He is guilty sometimes of stating the obvious like it’s important info, but yes he is pretty good. I like Smith as well.
