Regarding signing a centre for 2026, one player I would be keeping an eye on is Zac Laybutt from the cowboys.

He's back from an ACL injury but he looked an absolute weapon before suffering the injury, a very big powerful and skillful centre who's only 23 and could've possibly fallen down the pecking order while on the side line

I don't think he has fallen down the pecking order. He is in the predicted starting side for round 1 at centre.

Few offloads as well if you don’t mind in the trial! 2nd fittest player at the club behind Galvin who is a fitness freak! I would have him starting with T May at prop. Great play the ball speed as well, even wouldn’t mind him at backrow - he plays better the more minutes he gets! 🔥

If anything, I think yesterday showed that he isn't ready for first grade yet and NSW Cup is probably his level. He got out muscled and driven back quite a few times by younger Flegg players. He is definitely fit, but really needs to work on his upper body strength. May, Pole, Hunt, Klemmer, Twal and Sione all ahead of him at this stage with Rahme and Kit also looking more suited to playing through the middle against bigger NRL opposition.

Well we don’t have enough spots mate we’ve only got 1 left for this season, and we need it to go to a back rower, not a middle. No use worrying about the players that played in the middle when majority of them aren’t even in the top 30. We need a back rower more so then a middle at this stage, plus even if we had more spots I don’t think Molo would be the one to sign anyway.

Pay out one or two of those useless kids and sign who ever we can , we need to finish up the ladder and I can’t see it happening with the pack we got , we have the BEST backs we have had in years , yet the pack lacks so much

I think you have it the wrong way round. The best PACK we've had in years and finishing up the ladder isn't happening with the backs we've got..

We need a backrowers. Kia Pearce Paul would be good. I’d imagine he want big $. With Dylan Lucas coming through I think the Knights would be happy to let go of Paul. Lucas or Brodie Jones would be the better buy IMO.

Good let us fly under the radar, it's all going to depend on injuries. If we have a good run without injuries this year, we can end up 10 - 7. If it's another usual year where we need our depth players to step up imo 17 - 14. We have a good first grade squad we can compete with anyone, if we can solve our 2nd row out we can push a few teams. Our 2nd row is the other big question. I think we will have guys that will step in.
