Yeah the slam.Lomax usually has a field day against the Tigers.
Was well contained last night.
Looking forward to our next game against Parra to see how he performs.
Anyone see him slam Galvin though?
Exactly right.Yeah the slam.
I think it will be harder for Lomax in the centres, but next time we see him it will be with Moses and Brown so would expect it to be better than last night.
Latu at lock , his defence last night was great , with his pace he could be great at lockEven as Galvin's biggest fan, we might honestly be better served with:
6. Latu
7. Luai
13. Galvin
Or even
6. Bird
7. Luai
13. Galvin
14. Latu
But I don't see Galvin being happy playing outside of the halves.
Jnr PauloWhich starting forwards did not play for the eels last night?
Agree Would not be surprised to see Tristan debut round 1Tristan Hope > TDS
My verdict:
We don't need to worry too much about depth this year, a solid hit out by our new buys and our young guns. Handling:
They certainly missed another big boppa last night. We don’t have another power forward to come. Paulo - past his best for me thoughJnr Paulo
Wasn’t it Moltzen who fractured his knee cap?.No I think it was fractured big difference
Latu looked better when Gakvin was off,Thought Latu looked really dangerous out wide tonight.
Fitness is criticalMay was exceptional. He and Pole looked great and then Hunt came on for Pole and boom, more impact. May looks like he could play 3 games straight and not get tired. Phenomenal front row talent. He will be better than AFB because he is a bit more aggressive. There will be the odd game where Benji simply can't take him off and he will play 80 minutes
Think Galvin is a Parra juniorLatu has that soft touch of class that only comes naturally to a few. Personally I have no doubt that with Api at 9, Luai at 7, Latu becomes the best option at 6. Our attack would be scintillating, smooth and straight.
I know that won't happen because it means Galvin will sign elsewhere, and like everyone else I don't want to lose him. He is a top talent and top competitor. Not to mention a local junior. This is going to be an interesting time to see how Benji keeps both Latu and Galvin happy. Lachlan looks a hell of a lot stronger this year and a move to the pack could be sooner than we first thought (maybe only another year before he could handle it). Would he be happy with that though?
We looked great when both Latu and Bird were on.
Tiger junior, although went to Parra… who told him he wouldn’t make it.Think Galvin is a Parra junior
