You'd maybe think that if he didn't say Bula told him about the appendix operation and how they couldn't just do a simple keyhole operation.he would have got the shoulder operation mixed up with Bula and Taruvas appendix, he is not a smart man Mr Voss, as previously mentioned he has no idea about the tigers apart from piling on us
You know the old saying about "Two things can be true at once," maybe both of them had complex appendix surgery. The very confusing part of this is that VOSS SAID ON AIR THAT IT WAS BULA, AND HE SPOKE TO BULA ABOUT IT!
He went into great detail about the complex surgery that was required.
It's quite a bold-faced lie, if he is lying, to say he had a conversation with Bula about his operation.
no, experts telling you how it is. Forget what ex players coaches and every other league fan see when it comes to Galvin, we have our lounge room coach telling everyone how it is, forget what anyone else says worry abt the living room coach and his followers. Personally hes a wannabee that gets off on sounding like a pro talking shit abt what was easily our best player last year regardless what bullsshit spin you put on it. Your as annoying as A Johns, at least he laced up a pair of boots. So we're back to being scared about Galvins future. Nice.
Maybe he spoke to Bula about Turuvas surgery ha haSurely he hasn’t got them mixed up?

@kade7 anything on Galvin?
I wrote on email to Richo a few weeks back with some news I had.
He wrote back saying "we have it in hand".
Anything further to that recently?
I mean the better we do this year the more money he is going to command - the worse we do - the more he wants to leave.
What's the negotiation
Any idea what the magic numbers are and if the club will go for it?haha honestly nothing about olam
a little to add
- the club and his manager & father have been in discussion, the kid genuinely loves the club and wants to play with his mates
- the bottom line is he wants to be paid and is backing his ability to sign a very rich deal with the club
i also dont think dylan brown has much to do with his future , family arent the most impressed with his treatment as a junior
one think to add , i think latu is the clubs long term six and galvin to 13
He has said in an interview previously that he knows he’ll probably end up as a 13 but wants to be a 6 as long as he can. Even he knows it’s his future.Any idea what the magic numbers are and if the club will go for it?
I'd love to hear that the plan is to turn him into a 13 but wouldn't be surprised if he flatly said "no I want to be a 6"
Personally i Skelton is the winger to be excited about.Don't care if Voss has it wrong.

But surely the club know he’s worth more than $300k or whatever he gets this year and next
And surely they know people are going to be offering him close to a million
So why don’t they just up his contract this year and next and pay him a million a season for 4 seasons?
For any other club to compete with that they would have to offer him like 1.7m per season for the first two seasons he is available.
No one can do that.
We have the advantage - so why doesn’t Richo just pay him more now?
What am I missing?
Like why are waiting or risking another club like roosters dogs dragons etc offering him a 10 yr deal at 1.2 that ratchets up to $1.7m
But his first preference is for that winning club to be the tigers .They offered Tedesco more money than anyone else, but he still chose to leave …
Galvin is waiting to see if they can win games … it’s pointless asking anyone else now if he is staying , because he and his team don’t know themselves yet.. he wants to play at a winning club …
That brings back memories, I too played many games on that great grass , it doesn’t happen any morePossibly.... The grass always seemed very long but even and.not easy for running
Perhaps we need the extra 700k ish the next two years you propose to sign decent 2nd rowers and centres? It’s not just about Galvin.thanks @kade7 !!!

I'm outdated but I'll happily wear that tag and I am commenting based on your post. NRL players are professional sportsman, and the top players are well paid win or lose. Winning is fundamental to competitive sport however it is not always possible. All teams or individuals go onto the playing field or court to win, Adopting the position that you will stay only if your team is winning, or you want to go to a winning team is not the mindset imo of a team player. Players such as Luai, one of the biggest signings in the NRL has the confidence to come to the WTs. And what constitutes a winning team? The Roosters, Canterbury or the Panthers? What is your view on this? They offered Tedesco more money than anyone else, but he still chose to leave …

Is your offer contingent upon him signing an extended contract eg 4 year deal? When you consider we paid Hastings 800k to be a car park attendant and stand around and point at things, 1 million would be a bargain price for Galvin.
Do it now Richo.
Yes.Is your offer contingent upon him signing an extended contract eg 4 year deal?
If Richo thought $700k would do it and galvin would extend for another few years he would give up a second rower and center this year and clear more dead out.Perhaps we need the extra 700k ish the next two years you propose to sign decent 2nd rowers and centres? It’s not just about Galvin.
