He was an awesome villain in any movie. I can't say I ever saw a Gene Hackman movie I haven't enjoyed. Another quality actor from a time when movies told great stories is gone.
Unforgiven was a a classic with Clint but my favourite was Crimson Tide with Denzel Washington.
Man I loved that movie.
I'll be at Defcon 1 all day.
