Tbh Magic Round is more of a success for the NRL than playing in Vegas.

They are all smaller and don't get rag dolled each week in NRL.

- But they've also been much better players out of the gate than French was.
French has played about the same amount of games in the NRL as Campbell and Mam, And twice as many as Weekes and Kini
But he's the only one that's pushing 30 and had to go to Super League to continue his career.

Would only go if Sharks not there. Not being snobbish about their fans. Well actually I am.
I was gonna go to Vegas in 2020 but then COVID happened which canceled that. I’ve got no doubt that Vegas is an awesome place to visit, but the NRL are realistically losing money from taking these games to Vegas. I get they probably don’t mind in this instance but I see why Richo ain’t interested in taking us over there.

Any team that goes will get positive publicity, but I think Richo sees the cons outweigh the pros.
I said I reckon some club will offer him stupid money on November 1.

No club will go that high for him as that will blow their cap even with an increase to the cap. He’ll get solid offers but he won’t be offered $20m in 10 years. I think even Brown getting offered $13m in 10 years is a massive joke and a risk for any club to take on.
I don’t think he’s not good enough . I just don’t think he offers more than the next bloke who’s twice his size . And unfortunately , scouts look at speed ,size and power . I think if he came back his output would be akin to someone like Daine Laurie . Which is fine , and would get you a bench spot most games , but nothing special .
Teams would absolutely target him in defence though .
There’s been heaps of “elite reserve grade” type players dominate over there and be meh over here . Hastings , Rangi Chase , The fullback who got a mil at the warriors (forgot his name) .
In saying all that though , if I was in need of an nrl half I would be putting a shit tonne of pressure on Harry Smiths agent to get him over here . He is one player who I’m almost definitely sure would make it over here , with the structure and rigidity of the playing style / collision .
I would sure as hell hate to be a fan of whoever is offering that to Brown.
I don’t think Galvin will be getting $2m a season, but I wouldn’t be surprised with over $1M. Maybe his old man can coach Harold Mats for $1M a season too 🤔

It was a modus operende for a certain club in east Sydney to employ family members for astronomical employment contracts .
I think it’s the Knights offering Brown that much money and length of contract. I personally would never offer any player more than 5 years in signing to play for my club as I know there’s a risk that they suffer an injury that could force them to retire early. Not saying that will happen to Galvin or Brown but should they be offered that long a contract but I couldn’t take that on no matter how good they are. Look at Tamualolo at Cowboys he’s not the same player as he was when he first took on that contract, I’m sure the Cowboys have some regret about it now. I do think that Galvin if he hits the market will get offered at least at million, but no way he gets 2 million.
Richo is very smart and pragmatic
Im very sure that if we have a breakout year or two, Richo would change his mind.

Let's not go over there until we prove ourselves to be a very good team or else we may embarrass ourselves on the big stage like some other teams did today.
Let's face it, apart from the Penrith vs Cronulla game, that was a pretty poor showcase for the greatest game of all.
I don’t think he will even if we do have a couple good years. He’s been pretty open about how he hates it, I would be surprised if he changed his mind.
