I am so sad that we blew Daine Laurie.

Yes he wasn't our fullback, but you look at how poor the coaching was. Kick return meters can be worked on and both Daine and Bula clearly are not being coached to get in position tackle 4/5.

Daine at 5/8 went alright. Loved the player, had a stack of heart. Meh, hope he keeps doing well at Penrith as a ute.

Daine has plenty of talent, but for us he was just too small. Not running with a dominant forward pack didn’t help his cause. Might just find his place at Penrith.

Weird hey. I only watched the match for a short time and popped into the live game thread for a little while then. Reading through it later I noticed it in the middle of his post and thought that is odd, especially from him, then saw it in mine posted above too.

I know someone who went to school with him. The said he would travel from West Wyalong to Penrith (5hr trip) for training and games, while studying and he became Dux.
