Signings, Suggestions & Rumours Discussion

The most of us. So you think everyone agrees with you? Are you for real? Like you say. Its just chat. Why bag people? Random? I never brought up Blake the Snake. Get a grip.

Sorry Rock Hopper. Hope im not taking the main stage light off of you. Just like keeping it real. Remember the last sighting at COE. Matterson. Returning to Wests Tigers.

Really?
Lawrie is absolute garbage
- fat, lazy and useless!!
I’ve never seen more wraps on such a god awful footballer - it’s almost Jurbo like….
And he went on national TV and bagged his previous coach - imagine how he’d go with ours…

On a 1-10 performance level, wherever you rate Klemmer, Lawrie is 15 behind that. Klemmer isn’t being moved because there’s nowhere in the 17 for him, the same way Bateman wasn’t moved on for it…
Taking Lawrie might be the only way we can get rid of Klemmer given the Dragons have 30 players signed and it doesn’t look like the Molo situation will be resolved anytime soon.

Klemmer was in line to make $1.1m over the next two years (per Chammas). If we got Lawrie for those two years for around $600k that’s a big win IMO as it frees up $500k of salary cap space and that position/roster spot is being paid in line with output I.e. the value is right.

Remember. A forum member reported this. No.facts. Lawrie ain't signing. I mean what does Benji see that we don't? I thought you all said Benji was smart.

Wrong thread brother. Mental health discussion. And you could help the cause yourself with constructive criticism to accentuate your point rather than popping a zit. I mean. Someone has to clean the mirror. You been there right?

I also think that if Galvin signs for another club after 1 Nov 25 he will be released from the final year of his contract, most likely as part of a swap deal.

Isaac Moses would be confident of getting Galvin out of the final year of his deal. Otherwise, it seems too much money for Galvin to leave on the table to play the 25 and 26 seasons under his current contract (without an upgrade and extension). If it’s only 2025, it’s not so bad. Time will tell. It’s great having Latu under contract for three more seasons.

Yes I understand it’s entirely up to us if we release Gavin for 2026.
Possibly Galvin could earn more, but V'Landys wants to stop players agitating for releases to earn more elsewhere.

Not sure how far he'll get with it, but will make things interesting for contracts in general moving forward.

"Well, he's got a contract, it's very simple. He's got two more years under contract, and we intend to keep him to the contract," he said.

Luai fulfilled the final year of his contract as the Panthers expected him to do. Luai, being the professional he is. would not let down his team mates to take up our big money offer which did not commence anyway until 2025.

Make it so the manager gets penalised every time his client breaks a contract and it will stop over night.

Manage your client.

Just scrolling on social media so it could easily be fake, but apparently Blake Lawrie was spotted leaving the COE today. Could be in relation to Klemmer maybe a swap could be happing if it is legit.
Swear this happened with a parra player not too long ago

It had more to do with the person. But hey who I am to judge, if he’s not guilty then he is fair game.
He does have fair game, I didn’t see that one, but I’m happy to be educated by those that did. 👍🏻
Yeah mate. I get ya and agree.
Guess after a decade of what we've seen here and In particluar the last couple
of years. I guess i'm just over losing weeekly.

I don’t reckon there’s a Tiger fan out there who’s not over loosing. I had five blokes laughing at me yesterday bcoz I go for the Tigers, and one of them was a bloody AFL fan. But he still knew we were shite.
It’s painful.

I disagree, The Molo situation is done... he'll find a suitor and a spot will open for Klemmer - Dragons are just trying to get out of it at no cost (Meanwhile, we're still paying Klemmer for them, And will probably chip in for the rest of the year)
All we'd be doing is swapping a reserve grader for a first grader and leaving the Dragons the Room to get another Quality middle once Molo sorts a deal.
I don't get why the WT's always have to be on the Bottom end of the Deck.

Do the Dragons need Klemmer more than they need Lawrie - Yes.
We have the upper hand here.

You asked the Question,
and I answered with an instance where it has in fact happened - Quite Recently.

You're the one that turned it into some stupid back and forth with shifting of the goal posts.
Should it happen - No,
Is it Madness - Of Course it is.
Has it happened - Yes
Could it possibly happen (Or possibly already have happened with Galvin - Hence the release request)
Yes.

Again,
You asked the Question
- My answer to that Question was a very brief and simple yes.
And you seem to agree - Why are we here?
Because both of you want to have the last word
