Signings, Suggestions & Rumours Discussion

I thought the same with the offloads / conceeded but the numbers don’t match up on both sides.
For instance in our game NRL.com stats have Offloads 16 us, 11 Knights but ineffective tackles are 22 us, 28 Knights. That’s 11 offloads conceded unaccounted for if it is just that.
Has to be something else.
Multiple tacklers when the ball is offloaded

Anyone got any real WT signings news…. Not just picking names out of NSW Cup teams ?

that kinda talk don’t excite Richo much ,,,

I think Shaun Lane could be a good shout. Can’t remember his contract situation but he could be signed to play on the left where he features atm and Samuela could go back to the right to continue on his combination with Galvin.
Seyfarth could play 13 at least as an alternative to Twal as he has a better passing game.

On contract 2025 season, MO for 2026.
Could be a chance for a mid season signing.

Absolutely not. Barely on the ground and when he is he is a liability. Had one good year but the rest are average at best.

Not one player is take from the Eels apart from maybe Penisini.

It’s weird that thier edges could be kautoga and Tualagi . There was some who thought they would be our starting edges around this time a few years ago .
I think Kelma has a lot to offer .
I feel like anyone we get though will be a placeholder until Godinet gets big enough . Which my guess would be 27/28 .
Someone older who could be reliable and do a job would be nice .
I actually thought Seyfarth looked good on the weekend .
I feel like it’s no surprise that the edge started to really breakdown when he went off with a HIA.
Seemed relatively solid until then .

Seyfarth is a good defender. Doesn't offer much in attack though. Kelma Is half decent in attack but his defence was poor when he was here. Missed alot of tackles.

Why can't we have a 2nd rower who is good at both?

With that mindset I’m sure you’ll be happy that we missed out on Tupinoua and the Dogs are crazy for signing him….

Fair enough. I thought he was ok. For the little ball that went that that way. I’ll watch him closer this week, lacks speed for mine but that’s just me.

I dunno man . Why can’t we have a lot of things ? Whoever did that thing wrong to that person who put that curse on us , surely it’s close to being lifted ?

I think a 30 year old that has spent the past 5 years playing as a left Edge is big, quick, a body to use with and without the ball in shape is just what we need. He has been through a few clubs before settling in with the Eels. But his best football seems to be in new settings. I’d be prepared to offer him a new outlook given the next best on offer would be Billy Burns.

One thing I did notice about the game was Samuela looked a bit lost without Galvin and visa versa.
