3-2-1 3 2 1 vs Parra

May
Bula
Turuva

HM the rest of the spine including TDS, both centres, Skelton, Teal and Hunt, obviously the hitups but the chase was beautiful. Probably Pole and Bird too, but that's everyone except 3 players who werent bad per se but had less impact on the game.

Being there live. (Thoughts)

Skelton is enormous, starting our sets regularly in the right direction.

hugely optimistic about the potential here.

For perspective:
It was a disgusting hot day, filled with errors and ability to slack off.

He took first, second or third in most sets. 90%+ found his front, and started out sets well.

Not bad for a first grader with less than 10 games of experience.

Bula
May

Very hard for third spot but going for Douehi. Looking dangerous in attack, solid defending and converting tries. Our 2 wingers exceptional aswell. And a tip of the hat to Benji, I said they looked uncoached last week but it certainly wasn't the case today.

So as usual we won't get credit for the win since parra are wooden spoon contendors this year
That'll happen.
Remember we won games 2 and 3 last year and then fell in a heap.
If we end up 2 & 4 or even 1 & 5 over the next month, the praise will come.
We should enjoy flying under the radar for as long as possible.

Bula, May and Luai. Luai throughput the final quarter of the game provided the steadying hand that we lacked. His impact on our club will be profound. May is a sensational pickuo.

Finding it difficult giving a rating after this game most were very good, even rating who had the quietest game would still be a struggle.
