The naming of Tony Sukkar as 21st man this week highlights our severe lack of depth in the forwards. He would not make the bench for most NSW Cup teams, yet he's the next forward in line for promotion should anyone go down. We desperately need to boost our forward stocks to cover for the inevitable injuries this year.

He would make the bench of every Cup team and start for plenty of them. He's only 20.

Yes, I agree if he's your depth you have an issue but that's as much because he's 20 as it is his talent. He's improved a lot in the last season.

Matamua not named in any grade this weekend (including RMC) after playing Ron Massey Cup last week. Injured or on the outer?

Whatever the case, it leaves our middle depth very limited with only Kit, Porter, Sukkar & Tumeth (has played lock before) the only other possible middles until Round 10 (when NSW Cup players can be selected).
