Credit where it's Doueihi...

Yep I have also been critical of Adam in the past but full credit to him for putting the extra effort in, it has changed his game for the better. Keep it up!
He has deserved the criticism at different stages, although I do wonder if he was underdone at the end of last year because some of his efforts were shocking. I remember Benjo saying hinting that he wasn't 100%

Since were doing humble pie.

Seyfarth too. Guy has turned into that try scoring dynamic player we wanted him to be. Still weaknesses in his game but really improving, workrate is up and gives us another finisher in our line.

Ill add my own 2c on Doueihi apology:
We see him actually defend and shutdown plays.
We see him kick and his kicking has been excellent. Kicking is a real sore point as I don't believe Luai or Galvin have a good boot.

I wanted to punt him because he would often go to sleep in defense and this would cost us games. He did not seem to want to play center. Now he seems to be owning the center role and holding his own in defense. Also as a former half, we get this brillance of a center that can start stuff and give another option if teams lockdown Galvin/Luai.

It's not 1 game. It's 3. So far so good.

He’s been great.

Did a good job on the wing too. Possibly he might stay there with Bird in the centres. More likely Staines comes in though.

I didn’t think we lost much between AD and Jeral in terms of set restarts. If Jeral is out next week, I think I would prefer to keep AD at wing and either bring in another centre or move Jack Bird to centre and bring up bench player to fill in at lock etc. Is that likely to be Tim Johannson?

Pretty much just said the same thing to a couple of friends. And gave him 2 in my 3-2-1

Maybe he's finally fit and healthy, and is able to walk the walk now?
I see it more as an attitude thing, particularly defence wise, which he has improved greatly since the trials. Particularly liked his performance when moved to playing on the wing after Skelton hobbled off.

Yeah I don’t know, don’t think Benji will want to change too much. Wouldn’t be surprised if one L Laulilii comes straight onto the left wing, rated very highly & due to return according to club doctor Moussa.

I know, even I was impressed with that tackle.
I stood up in my own lounge room yelling “Go Doobie!!!” Mrs BF thought I was smoking one.
i'd almost offer him the same 1 year low $ contract again ,on this years performance - early days

He made three big defensive plays today that absolutely deserve credit - but that is an anomaly & barely a statistical blip on his poor career record!

Interesting that they all came after evidently getting a half-time rev up...

He is not a long-term three-quarter - fullback or halves option - so if he can find a more suitable situation and better contract elsewhere it is in both parties best interests that he relocates in 2026 and beyond!

But I absolutely applaud his uncharacteristic efforts in the 2nd half today and - concede that we would have lost if not for him "doing his job" well...
I've been a critic and also think this season he has been outstanding. He thoroughly deserves his spot. At the same time, he was absolutely terrible in that Nikorima try.
There's a few T'oa haters in here as well and I think he's also deserving of a bit of praise. When your winger scores multiples every week and class combos can't score against you, I think you're doing pretty well.
