I just want a straight forward answer, as a Wests Tigers supporter, do you believe we are more chance of winning more games with Justin Olam or Taylan May as one of our starting centres ?

There is no way, mentally or physically, Olam goes from contemplating medical retirement to regularly playing first grade again. Real shame if we can't get it over the line.

And whilst were paying Bud to play elsewhere..and maybe Klemmer too..and paying out Miller...and simultaneously keeping our powder dry for an upgrade of Galvin,we just may not be able to afford Taylon in this years cap
Altho personally Id find a way to back end him..and think Richo will do just that
May wld almost certainly be first centre selected next yr ...plus Makasini..so one or more of the incumbents(Staines/Toa/Naden have to go...none of which have achieved anything like May

I suppose he has got to say something like that because he can't very well say we are still working on getting him medically retired and paid out by the insurance company so we can have him wiped from our cap, get back another top 30 spot and put the dud signing well and truly behind us.

You only have to look back at Rainbow Round and their incompetent management leaving Des and Dally to try and square things up by fronting the media when they were not even consulted about what was to become a total disaster that derailed their season.

That Mestrov press conference regarding DCE was very confusing. Seems to jump around on what was agreed/known & trying to make out that the on-air offer wasn't a 'knee jerk reaction', which honestly- what else could it have been?

One report has DCE telling players after the Canberra win, Mestrov then comes out talking about how this was discussed in pre-season & it was a galvanising of the squad.

Apparently they've 'known DCE was leaving' but then, yesterday, they put together an offer.

It sounds like someone (Mestrov) is going into damage control.
