I'm surprised by Papalii's fitness. He always looked tired and unfit at the tigers but you expect him to go to another level at Penrith, but there he is huffing and puffing after his minimal impact and small minutes. It's hard to figure out what happened to him.

NRL is very low quality this year.... doesn't mean I'm not enjoying it, but the fact the Rabbitohs are 3-1 shows you how weak the competition is

Did you notice it was slow but sped up at the crucial moment to slow down again. It's like they (the bunker) were trying to make it look like a bounced ball without downward force.

Was thinking about this. Could be a year where an outsider could win it before DCE goes to chooks to win the next two lol

I’m certainly not writing them off but great to see they have come back to the pack

Just goes to show that even the best teams struggle when they lose 4-5 of their elite players to injury or transfer. Penrith are running out of top 4 quality players. Next week no Sorensen, To’o.
In our case, for many past years, we hardly had any Top 4 quality NRL players to start with.
