OFFICIAL Lachlan Galvin #277 *Released* Career Discussion.

The reason most definitely isnt your opinion.

More likely because Galvin was the next cab off the rank after the Brooks -> Manly BS media fest
The fact he played an entire season on debut, shouldve got rookie of the year, and has a mangager who know how to get his clients name in the media
Latu was also out half the season injured... so it was a clear runway for Galvin.

Galvin imo needs the ball in his hands, he is the energiser bunny, but he just needs to learn to control himself a bit and pick his moments better cause many times he stifles our attack and it breaks down, though he's only a pup and will learn, develop and get better, it's having an impact on Luais game as the combination is still gelling.
You're right about this.

The more I think about it, it plays into Galvin to #13 narrative. A Liam Fulton type, ball playing lock, who can defend like there's no tomorrow because he has a huge motor...

Then Luai and Latu in the halves to control the game's direction.

It alleviates the pressure on Galvin to control the game, because more often than not he plays off the cuff which can screw up our structure.

OK I'm sold. Galvin to #13.

Galvin needs to improve his defence to be compared with Fulton.

Is it possible there is someone more stupid than Riccio, he's trying to sensationalize it poorly, who's dumb enough to fall for that pathetic attempt at journalism.
A $10m contract could be worth $700k to an agent. It doesn’t really matter what’s real or not, it’s what matters that matters.

I'm the same, I think he's a lock eventually, an Isaiah Yeo type, perfect link player who can also be used as a foil for the halves if somethings on. Fainu to 6 Luai at 7. With a spine of Dasilva, Fainu, Bula, Luai and Galvin we could build an awesome squad around them 5. We would have an awesome team, problem is convincing Galvin of that. He prob wants to stay in the halves. But I'm sure he said somewhere once he sees himself in the second row at some stage, I can't really remember properly.

Luai is out this week & I expect the Broncos to roll us as a result.

Average play so far or not- he is a player that needs to be accounted for & gives the team the greatest chance of success.

Suggesting he plays KOE is purely shenanigans.
Like someone else posted somewhere on the forum, what we don't see is all the talk and organising the lads and directing things with his leadership. We can't replace that, it's looking more likely Penrith might not be able to aswell.

There's no 85kg number 13's playing NRL He's about 30 kg lighter than Yeo. I think that comparison, or fantasy, needs to stop.

As ink said above. Danny Weidler saying it's hard to get word out of Tigers camp but they think 5mil/5years.
Also says the Roosters are not interested due to his manager.
Gould says he hopes Galvin stays.

Full clip here:
The Roosters are always interested. They will arrange an intermediary, just like Minichello with Tedesco, to do the deal. In that way they can claim they don't deal with him.

Hard to get word out of WTs' camp but think

Tbh the halves will sort itself out. I'm happy the attack goes of API/Talyn.

Bula and Luai. Galvin or Fainu. If Galvin is a million then see you later. Don't pay that to any 5/8th

Didn't work out well for Parra.
Dylan Brown is worth 700k max. For his running game. Knights trying to make him a halfback lol. Look at Brooks and Shaun Johnson. Not Halfbacks never were but coaches kept putting them there.

Newcastle will not win a premiership in the next 10 years . Shame because don't mind the place and the fans are genuine.

As much as i'd like Galvin to stay im not 100% comfortable with the 1mil figure being thrown around. This constant speculation from a 19yr old is a bit much, release after release now supposedly 1mil a season doesn't sit well.
