Signings, Suggestions & Rumours Discussion

Lobb might get the opportunity to stay around, but he doesn't have what it takes to play grade. at this stage I think it's unlikely.

I can't see them keeping Feledy. I'd be extremely surprised if they aren't trying to find him a club now.

Feledy, Tumeth, Matamua and Saukuru are currently stealing a living. thanks Sheensy.
At last years NSW Cup GF at ComBank Stadium I spoke with a former coach of Matamua and Tumeth who is now coaching at another and he was adamant Wests Tigers have badly handled their development.
He could not believe two highly talented juniors could deteriorate between the ages of 19-21 when most others are rapidly improving.

In that case i am sure the coach will quickly sign them up to his new club and prove WT to be dopes,i can barely wait to see that.

The only person who ruined Matamua development is Matamua . He has been given every opportunity to excel . Opportunities other players can only dream about .
He might succeed . But he needs to get stronger and learn to fight through contact .
He has all the tools , it’s up to him .
Agree Matamua has been on our books for 4 or 5 years and if you can't develop into a NRL regular in that time you never will
I see FB post by Taylan May seems his head or his heart is not in playing League at all atm .So further web chat about him seems useless until something changes if ever
Anyway Brother Terrell should know

Possibly sent to see a psychologist or sport psychologist by the club. Iv heard of other clubs doing that and if they sign the player the contract is contingent on the player going a set amount of time per year, fortnightly, monthly. If the club threw that out there he may have just refused. No idea if that's what it is, though iv heard of it happening with "troubled" players clubs may be worried to sign.

Didn't involve May doing anything apart from agreeing for the club to do what they did as part of the process.
