Our best possible side really. Knights will play tough but comparing spine and bench it’s a game we “should” win.

Knights are surprisingly short odds considering they have a few out.

Can forgive any team looking undercooked Rd 1, especially with a few key guys not trialling. Though I take your point. Maybe disappointed isn't the word...have been disappointed with all losses.

If we lose this is the first time I'll be sure I've been lying to myself that we've improved haha

We should learn more from round one than them...I hate us all being confident it usually ends in disappointment but if forms anything to go by we should account for them...funny game this tho

To be realistic this game is a good test for us. Knights are a decent side that will be top 12 on the ladder and have proven they can play finals. If we want to progress from Spooners to the 8 this is a game we need to be right in and probably need to win.
At the start of the season I was hoping we would progress up the ladder but didn’t see us making the 8. I simply wanted to see a team full of guys who wanted to win and tried their best every week. I wanted to see that culture develop and a growing spirit for the jersey. So far, even though we haven’t got the wins we might have liked, I believe that we are getting there. This week is an important step.

The knights defence against the dogs was very good , we need to go around them not throw them . Need to get up in there faces when they have the ball , the dogs done it all game and they had not answer, so that’s the game plan really got there

They have 3 main forwards out. I'd be the opposite. I'd go through them. Their edge defence is solid with Best and Gagai there.

Kick to Marzhew every single time! He tends to drop them and if we get in his face we limit his yardage. Bulldogs did it perfectly last week
