CEO - Shane Richardson

No until he has fixed this shit show! He would need to train someone to take over and kep the ship heading in the right direction. Too easy to undo what has been developed by hiring in some clown(s). Stability is what the club needs!

He will do what he wants to at the end of the day ,…he has lived in the UK before and he and his son also have business interests there…

Let’s hope he stays here as long as possible though ..I would rather lose Galvin than him

Would not surprise if Richo sees out his contract with a succession plan to Shaun Mielekamp, our GM of Community et al who came very highly rated as the CEO of the Central Coast Mariners for 9 years and ex Marketing or similar Manager at Penrith & Souths.

South Sydney chief executive Blake Solly and his Wests Tigers counterpart Shane Richardson have emerged as the driving forces behind a plan for the NRL to take a stake in Super League and breathe new life into the English game.

This masthead understands that Solly and Richardson began working on a comprehensive proposal six months ago before engaging with the NRL, who have now taken over the heavy lifting as they look to secure a deal that would revive Super League’s flagging fortunes.

NRL considering a 33 per cent interest in European RL revolution.

This is the smartest thing the nrl could do IMO. The SL much like the wests tigers brand really , is too closely associated to negative things . The nrl especially with the push into Vegas , has brand recognition.
I think I read as well that if the nrl does buy the comp and take over the running of the game , that they will try and package the SL rights with the nrl rights .
This can be a real selling point as stations like ESPN , are mining all kinds of sports and looking for content .
It could be a case of everyone eats together . I can see the short sighted SL clubs getting a taste of the nrl money and trying to break away in 10 years .
But right now they’d be crazy not to attach themselves to the nrl brand .

like LO I am sure they will get funding
interesting Richo comments better LO membership than campbletown, always thought that would be the case
hopefully upgrades at both stadiums
if not LO and combank I guess

Richo tigers playing at campbelltown is pretty much bad luck

It feels like someone broke a mirror in the past and nobody knew about it

We don't have many happy endings at the ground that I can recall

Doing and saying what he needs to with out the old bullshit from previous leaders at the club , this also keeps us all up to date but also puts it out there that it is now up to Campbelltown council and the NRL to get it sorted by June 30. , I feel it will happen as if it doesn’t and we go Commbank and Leichhardt for 3 to 5 years Cambo will be lost , you can’t keep moving and changing home grounds , I think he should have given updates on players contracts like Galvin , something small , and also he would know everyone was on Taylan coming , throw an update ,

He didnt mention what the other stadium would be.....

He said several times we have an alternative if cambo isnt up to speed!!

had been thinking to myself that the big man had been rather quiet the past few weeks. this is certainly going to generate plenty of noise.

this is the next step towards finally committing to a stadium plan that we can set and forget. if we're going to be a true presence in the south-west, playing 7-9 games in a 24,000-capacity stadium is the perfect way to ensure our viability in the area.

Sounds just about perfect.

if it doesn't get upgraded at CSS and Tigers play from LO and combank what will happen ? Campbletown wouldn't be lost to tigers
it is not like souths will play 3 games at CSS or Bulldogs play 3 or 4 games at CSS
that would be no better than what is currently happening now

Richo flexing his muscles prior to June 30 im sure an upgrade at CSS will happen
