I'm not 100% sold on this being truth.

Galvin has mentioned multiple times he loves Benji and he is allowed him to play what he sees.

It's a nice narrative that suits the Galvin's camp reluctance & arrogance.

However, IF.... it is true.
It's disgraceful.

Benji, Richo, we, as a club and a fan base, couldn't have done more for this kid.
He's spitting in all our faces.

According to the fox league interview a month or so ago Galvin apparently had a jab at Luai being a “teachers pet” in regards to his relationship with Benji. Obviously a joke but saying something like that shows a lack of respect and hints at jealousy. The comment’s discussed at the 3min mark.

Can you imagine Bellyache, Bennett or a Robinson saying just go out there and play what you see and if you make mistakes so be it..

Ngl getting an injury prone Adam Reynolds would be a terrible idea with Latu already injury prone.

not sure about injury prone. He had a nasty bicep injury last which can happen at any stage of your career. He’d average over 20 games per season. Not suggesting his body is in the same shape now as a few years ago, but not unrealistic to suggest we could get some footy out of him.

His consistent high level of play and leadership is something every club wants and seems to have gotten better after 30. Something I have found to be quite annoying especially as a blue.
I never wanna give out a single retirement contract ever again, but I reckon DCE and JL would kill it.

James Hooper was on nrl tonight with Blocker and said it was Galvin and his manager who told Richo last Thursday that the reason is Galvin feel Benji can’t take him further , money is not the reason he is going it’s the coach , and it’s also been reported they have issues with Benji and his team of asssitants all being mates / ex players , , ts was then spoken again by nrl 360 Buzz was coy on it !Read was reluctant to speak about it like the way Hooper come out , I feel if true and Hooper doubled down on it , it was also mentioned that Richo told the board and the board said contact Galvins dad for a chat Friday , he never answered his phone or replied to message , I Reckon Galvin has got a deal now if he wants it before June 30 , so dogging the coach would be th fastest way to a release , watch this space he will be gone before June 30 if Hooper info is correct , he also should b dumped completely from first grade

Surely we would only release Galvin in return for a high calibre player in a position of need. At 300k per season, Galvin offers excellent value as a backup half, backrower or centre. He can prove his worth to suitors over the next season and a half.
