OFFICIAL Lachlan Galvin #277 *Released* Career Discussion.

I'll wait for someone else to share the article but according to Weilder, the genesis of the Marshall vs Moses fued is Marshall disrespecting Sheens during the Tigers' courting of Mitchell Moses in 2023. Tomorrow there will another bogus claim from the Moses camp advanced by their media apologists like Weidler and Chammas.

I thought it was a lot more simple then that. Benji hasn't signed up as a client of Moses yet.

$50 bucks if he did, Galvin would still be here... Or at least saying "my coach is awesome"

The secret meeting that sparked Benji Marshall–Isaac Moses feud

Benji Marshall versus Isaac Moses is currently one of the biggest feuds in rugby league, but the reason they have fallen out has remained a secret – until now.

Marshall, through his brilliant media performance on Thursday, is winning the public relations battle. The problem is Moses doesn’t care about that, and Marshall is likely to lose the Lachlan Galvin war. It appears it is now up to Marshall and CEO Shane Richardson as to how many people are wounded or killed off, from a professional standpoint, in the process. At the core of it all is the Marshall-Moses feud.

The Wests Tigers have slammed suggestions that Lachlan Galvin has been the victim of workplace bullying after it was revealed he wants to leave the club.
Neither side is volunteering the source of the dispute. Marshall’s people say it may be because of the coach’s need to stand up to Moses, and more recently because of the nature of the John Bateman and David Klemmer exits from the Tigers. Both of those men are Moses clients.
But it’s deeper than that. My sources say it stems back to a secret meeting between Marshall, Mitchell Moses, Tim Sheens and Isaac Moses in early 2023.
That meeting was held when Mitchell Moses was negotiating his contract and exploring the idea of a return to the Tigers. At the meeting, Isaac Moses believed Benji’s body language and attitude towards Sheens was disrespectful.
It was not raised at the meeting. Instead, Moses let him know as much via a phone call the next day, and Marshall told him what he thought of that viewpoint in a direct way. The pair have been off each other since.
Moses would not be drawn on the matter when we asked for comment. It has been suggested to me that Sheens and Marshall are no longer close.
Marshall has the strong backing of his team in the battle with Galvin and Moses, but he may have reason for concern. Moses’ list of grievances with the club regarding Galvin is said to contain at least 15 points.
Marshall is aware of some of them, and there are some very damaging claims which he will challenge strongly. He may even wish to consider enlisting the help of lawyers. It has the potential to derail Wests Tigers’ season.
Marshall will be wondering how things changed so quickly with Galvin. About six months ago, he asked me not to write about him going to dinner with the Galvin family as part of the wooing process.

Richo responds to Galvin rumours

The pressure on Lachlan Galvin was ramped up a month ago – he was told that unless he was going to commit to the club long term, he was facing time in reserve grade. He was rattled.

This has been documented and was dealt with by CEO Shane Richardson. He defused the situation at the time and tried to rectify what had been said to Galvin by others at the club.

But what will become an issue is that Galvin has not been part of “spine” meetings, and has been removed at times from wrestling sessions. That annoyed other players, but it was not Galvin’s call.

Richardson strongly responded to the saga on Saturday.

“It’s absolute rubbish ... this is part of a smear campaign of a legend of the club. Benji deserves more respect. I don’t know why you blokes believe this stuff. What I will say is that this won’t work – Lachlan Galvin will not be getting a release,” he said.

These are just some of the problems at the Tigers. And they won’t be the major points in his move to get out of the club on the terms of being arguably in a workplace that’s unsafe to continue working in.

I can just picture The Princess and Galvin both having hissy-fits at Cummbank Stadium. One will get Isaac and Benny to help and the other will call mummy and daddy. Hopefully they will collectively destroy many Slime seasons.
. . . . . . . and the fans burn down Cummbank.

The State Government is so disgusted with the fan reaction and because this is not the first time this has occurred, they decide that Cummbank will be rebuilt at Campbelltown, an area in which it will be appreciated.

Moses will continue this smear campaign against Benji until he gets Galvin out. He’s now bringing Benji’s relationship with Sheens into this. Next there will be leaks about Benji from Warren McDonnell, Scott Fulton, trying to bring him down and create a divide in the playing group. No doubt this week we’ll see something about TDS wanting out.

In the past our leadership would crumble up against such a firestorm but we now have Richo & Luai. I feel this situation will be the making of Luai as a leader.

So at a meeting with Sheens and Benji to “negotiate Galvins contract with the Tigers “…. He had concerns with “Marshall’s body language and disrespect of Sheens “ …

Yet the deal was still done … seems a bit odd to me that happened if it really concerned Moses

the problem is that we have seen these sort of firestorms surrounding the club before ..and it does affect the on field team performance …which is ultimately the only barometer as to who is “winning” the war …

TDS is crucial to this as well…they should be pulling out all stops to get him extended ASAP….so the media can’t use this as an angle

We know how this will ultimately end up …Galvin walking out and playing for another club … I don’t know if I want this crap going on for weeks let alone months before that happens …

Then Moses wins again using underhanded tactics!

I’m pretty sure Richo will dig his heals in until the club receives a grandfather level of compensation whether in the form of player/s and/or mammoth transfer fee.

Ultimately if all the players are professional about this, Galvin can still add value to our team off-the-bench or as an injury backup.

But yes hopefully TDS can start a series of extensions to reinforce TeamFirst and a nice external signing for ‘26 like KPP with some quotes about coming to play for Benji.

What a raging tweeb weedler is, not an ounce of integrity in that jelly fish frame of a human. S as l I hear is weedler open his mouth and Issac bad breath come out.
What a low life peddling a players managers agenda, just shows u how great a reporter he is. Seriously not even worth chopping him up for burly, not even the sharks would eat that shite!!

We’ve never had a Luia or a May on the field to back the coach up! Siege mentality

Interesting quotes from Richo. He doesn't usually back down from his comments. Maybe he will stay til end of next year.

We have him on a favourable salary so as much as the media want to use the word "untenable", we'd be mad to release him unless we get something big. There is almost no one at Parra who would qualify outside of Moses or Lomax and no one wants Moses.

agree
as i dont think lomax would be a swap from parramatta
nor olakuatu from manly
For the 350k effect on the salary cap keep galvin at the club and don't play him

Richo thinks he's John Sutton, maybe that's his ceiling. I tend to agree dont think hes a Cleary. Will be interesting to find out.
Did John Sutton play origin ? The wests tigers equivalent, is post injury Chris Lawrence . Not even pre injury . lol that’s a decent footy player but hardly irreplaceable ! When we went through that experiment the other day Galvin is honestly , if you take your rose coloured glasses off , the 11th best player in the team .
One thing AD will provide is a much stronger kicking game . I think AD could remind everyone how good he is . I e always said if he fixed his defence and used his shoulders he has origin potential . I stand by that . And it looks like he’s found his shoulders this year. We will see .

What are you expecting on the compensation if he goes to Parra ?

This bloke must sit down at the end of every day and write in a book every interaction with every human that could be twisted around to use against them in future.
