Chammas and Weedler

I've read Manly consider Large to be a centre or fullback. I would have liked to have kept him but support the club's decision. I look at Toa's development and how tough it is to make it as an NRL centre. He has improved remarkably and while I hope Large makes it the transition to the NRL is tough.
Well...he just won the GPS 100 metre ...hes big enuff to play outside backs..but seeked totally committed to being in the halves for WTs
..and now with Manly he will do just tha, probably having just bought Fogarty for 3 years hes even more locked out from halves than he was with us ..
Really shlda kept him

Agreed, although do we want Bud back?

Really?

Wayne Bennett would have to significantly improve him as a player for him to really be considered here. Latu + Luai seems the way to go.
Think we need to stay open minded on Bud and see where he is at year end.Hes contracted to us another 2 years, and if Latu doesnt make it...we dont have a lot coming thru

That's true... I just don't see him starting for us.
Injuries... yea, without Latu/Luai and the fact that moving AD to 7 has usually been a disaster... We may need him.

Particularly as AD has been great at Center, I don't want him to move anywhere.

Think we can disregard ADs abilities as a 7..
But Theres not a lot of backup at 6 or7...
Im assuming Galvin will wriggle out of his contract at year end one way or another AND that Bud continues to play at current level, which is NRL standard
Im guessing Souths bought the one year deal with Bud at a firesale price,as he was surplus to our requirements plus we were keen to showcase him to prosprective purchasers
If thats the best we can do next year in terms fn compensation(ie $200k or so),so that were still paying the majority of his salary to play elsewhere,Im inclined to pay the entire freight and have him as back up to Latu/Luai (on SOO)

Buds best position atm is 14
There was a log jam last year and this year
If he’s still on our books for 26/27 it’s not the end of the world as our stocks in that position are dwindling

I know... It's not ideal, but I am starting to agree with you. Sullivan is a not so bad option at reserve halfback. Good attitude which we may have ruined by punting him.

100% though we need to get AD thinking, playing and sticking to his center spot. He is not a 7.

Now FoxLeague saying sharks were robbed...our markers not square during hynes field goal attempt...laughable....no other team scrutinised as much as us

Why?

He was offside sure...
Funny how they're only choosing that moment to scrutinise the reffing.
How many offsides at marker were there in the game before that one.
What about the Pole send off.

It usually balances out - usually....

Sounds like Goober Gronk who soiled his pants a few weeks back when Latrine threw a pass 3 metres forward to be the hero of the universe, but that was not scrutinised in the slightest.
