Signings, Suggestions & Rumours Discussion

I don't have a problem with his minutes so much,
I have a problem with playing him those minutes gives us an excuse not to use our bench properly,
Or to be looking at getting value from it / interchanges
- We're already small and light, Why do we have to be dumb as well.
This club seems to sit on it's hands forever waiting for 2005 to re-imagine itself!!
We're the idiots for believing in them.

If May has to play 80, for the love of god, Get a couple more decent middles and move him to Lock.

Seems like a diversion to me, Look at T May playing big minutes
- to draw attention that we're getting the least out of our bench / other middles in the comp.

Even the physics of it, The Opposition are out there tackling the same bloke,
that's the same shape that runs the exact same way - for the whole game.
On the Weekend we get 80 odd min from May, 20 odd From Pole, 20 odd From Hunt and 40 from Twal.
Storm fans running out of Popcorn watching them waltz through our middle...
Was thinking of the lock switch for Terrell myself lately with some other posters on here as well, if he is pissed being given a rest than that's the position for him.

We both said all off season that we needed more size in the pack you in particular how light the bench has been for years the only small player should be the 14, the others 110kg or there abouts the game against the storm's pack proves that they owned us.

Interested what you think of the talk of KPP possible signing lot of talk for and against, at least then we have 2 good size 2RF.

in our team lomax would be best served at centre, we have wingers
as for a 13 we have a ready made 13 in May who is miles better than Hopgood
Lomax won't be leaving the Eels and our club is best moving in another direction. I've attached this article dated 4 Nov 24 and note he said this -

“I don’t feel where that team (Eels) finished this year is how they’re going to go next year. I feel that with the team and the club at Parra, we’re going to have a really successful year.”

The Eels should have stuck with Gutherson, he is still producing good football.

I disagree.

Reynolds is exactly the type of organiser a rebuilding side needs. Having a steering wheel is one of the first pieces. The Dogs only kicked on, for example, when they landed on Sexton being their short to mid-term solution.

The past weekend aside, this club has barely put together a solid 80 minutes this year, with one of the major criticisms being direction as the combinations figure themselves out.

Adam Reynolds at the right price (6/700k) for a year, will kick you around the field. Will take the pressure off Jarome's kicking game and would turn most 4's into 6's. It would provide a default 1st gear for when the side is lost in games and, instead of going backwards, you could lean on Reynolds to march the forwards downfield and find some space with the kick.

It's not the worst idea.
Reynolds, Luai, Fainu and Mason is excellent depth allowing Galvin to switch to the second row😎.

Reynolds kicking game on its day is no doubt great. But I believe his mental game is flawed and when the pressure is on that supremely talented footy side loses all direction and that is when he should take control and time and time again doesn't. Why on earth did they feel the need to buy Ben Hunt?
There is a reason they are happy to let him go he has made it clear he wants to stay.
One year at a bargain price is tolerable imo and don't expect everyone to agree.

Galvin cannot play 2nd row, he just grabs players in defence. If he's not in the 6 which once Latu is fit i don't think he should be, he will be playing NSW Cup and once this happens hopefully Galvin instructs Moses to orchestrate a swap deal. I'd almost be happy with any half decent forward doesn't have to be a world beater. Whether it's Hopgood, Wiremu Greig, KPP or Frizell but we need troops.

If Latu is fit and playing well in Reggies i reckon Galvout will not be here by June 30. We need to look forward and despite the speculation being put to bed its clearly not.

galvin is worth 350k if we go for hopgood then get him in 2027 we do not need him next year.
if we get KPP (not a fan) then that fills a hole
if we let galvin go to Parramatta then we need an elite player in return the only elite player they have is Lomax

Richardson will get the best possible outcome. Exposing the farce that it is will ensure WTs' is in a position of strength. I believe we can get a better outcome than Hopgood. We know Richardson likes to have cap $ at hand.

Has anyone been watching state cup and seen anything in the games by Krystian Mapapalangi and whether he could fill in at centre in the absence of To’a
