Between contrasts like this and the Broncos sacking Taupau for liking a post but not another guy who almost killed a little girl, I find myself hating this game more and more every day. Just a shell of what it used to be.

Don’t get me wrong man, I wouldbe hesitant to give this bloke much time away from footy.
That said I’ve never met a player who isn’t a barrel scraping piece of shit in the real world.
He is clean living and a family man. They are big ticks in my book. He busts his arse every week for my team. His persona does not outweigh these attributes for mine.

King and Utoikamanu over him makes no sense at all.

If they picked the incumbents and then perhaps Koloamatagi as an edge/middle on the bench, I'd sort of get it. But it's a joke he wasn't picked over King.

Daley and Brandy have their massive favourites, it doesn't change.

Nobody can seriously say Reece Robson is in better form than Api and apparently Stefano was shit enough to be entirely overlooked for Origin 2024 (and thus his get-out clause), but 11 rounds with the Storm and he's suddenly Origin-quality again.

Tigers always overlooked for rep footy and in some ways it's our own fault, a well-earned reputation for shitness.

The true upside is aside from the disappointment for our players, we are thus unaffected by Origin selections.
