Don’t get me wrong man, I wouldbe hesitant to give this bloke much time away from footy.
That said I’ve never met a player who isn’t a barrel scraping piece of shit in the real world.
He is clean living and a family man. They are big ticks in my book. He busts his arse every week for my team. His persona does not outweigh these attributes for mine.

Daley and Brandy have their massive favourites, it doesn't change.
Nobody can seriously say Reece Robson is in better form than Api and apparently Stefano was shit enough to be entirely overlooked for Origin 2024 (and thus his get-out clause), but 11 rounds with the Storm and he's suddenly Origin-quality again.
Tigers always overlooked for rep footy and in some ways it's our own fault, a well-earned reputation for shitness.
The true upside is aside from the disappointment for our players, we are thus unaffected by Origin selections.

Great player. Playing more minutes than he should which again comes down to our shit coach.
Defensive deficiencies will cost him an origin spot. Most of those come when asked to play 75 minutes

Seriously though the bts footage that May is providing through his YouTube channel is what every sporting fan craves. It’s not common for a rugby league player in Australia to reveal there personality unless it’s been captured on CCTV or through someone filming someone Snapchat video.
So why do we hate it?
I mean I love seeing it, but I cringe at the awkwardness at the same time, so do we need it.
Does a fan really need to be behind the scenes of a football team and would that exposure actually have a negative impact on the side and or player. Is May’s Vlog some of the reason for the snubbing?
Sure he probably should have reacted more humble about just being in the conversation re origin but I feel May is different in that if he wasn’t first choice he’d prefer not to be picked.
But I ask again how did footage of his live stream get leaked? It’s streaming isn’t it? Not a recording, so who recorded it. Sure he is gaming with the public and publicly commenting but he is also just playing online with mates, when is private private?

Just stop it with this crap, we are unaffected by origin by having the first 2 byes before game 1 and 2.
We actually play before origin 3 which being a long season and if the series goes in a negative direction for nsw those players may actually end up in the side then.
