Spot on Hopgood is a solid player just needs to trim up a couple kg and hit the form from last year we improve , throw in May jnr and things look good for this year and Richo can go shopping for next year , Galvin won’t be missed

I'm excited tbh as I really don't think it was working with him still playing. The players would feel like they are walking on eggshells to an upstart kid..

I don't feel Dogs are the team either as he doesn't fit in there without pushing a player out plus a lot of Laui and Co friends are there so he would be going into a similar environment.

Either way I hope he never puts a Tigers jersey on again

The bullying case is what has pushed this in this direction IMO. As spurious as it is it made dropping Galvin really difficult as it would provide more fodder.

After his last few performances, the club have been wedged where their only 2 options were really: drop Galvin and deal with this case and all its publicity in the background or get the case dropped, put the ball back in his court by giving him permission to negotiate and make a deal with the prospective club.

Would have loved to see him rot in ressies for the rest of his contract, but could we afford all the publicity and distractions that would come with that?
