OFFICIAL Lachlan Galvin #277 *Released* Career Discussion.

Alternatively, we do a three way workload shift between Api, Latu and TDS each getting about 60 mins of game time in the rotation. Not my first preference but workable. The other option is the have Kurt Falls rotate with Latu and build some synergy between KoE and FG. We have options if we think a little outside the box that allow us to develop a couple of players in the role.

The real question to be answered is: does this change release Luai from having to set the play for Galvin's sweeps etc. What I means is ff we were to select a left side right side playmaker and let Bula sweep left and right depending on opportunites instead of Galvin sweeping left and Bula right we are surely in a much better position. Both Luai and whoever the other half is get to play their natural game. The only issue I see with this is that both are genuine 5/8ths as opposed to halves. However, Luai came here to prove himself - now is the time to make hay!

Luai is clearly doing the organising on the field in conjuntion with Api, who is not afraid to overcall and make decisions. So even though Latu doesn't have a great voice on the paddock this could be a combination that works well. It is clear from Romey's comments that Latu would be his preferred halves partner.

The other thing that this may unlock is Sam F - what if we swapped him onto the other edge with his brother and bought Sukkar (until KPP or another FG ready edge arrives) in as a Kikau type ball runner with Luai - now we know how that combo worked for the Panthers

The bigger question is: Who do we grow and nurture as our next half? Why? Because the good teams have a developemnt and succession plan.
Pay me. I will give you an answer. In your time.

We saw it clearly. Luai and Turuva are putting the punks in their place.

It's what needs to happen with Juniors who think they are king of the field without proving it. We remember how DCE was dropped from the Maroons because of his attitude. At least he had some kind of claim to the arrogance he was spurting in his early years.

Critta and Ciraldo would do it a stack harder at the dogs.
If Galvin thinks he just walks into any other teamand can just play touch footy like he dies with us he's in for a very big culture shock.

Gus just tweeted implying he’s been in meetings all day, reckon there’s a player swap coming.
To clarify this, you think there's a player swap coming... Gould didn't say that (because I misinterpreted and then went to read the tweet)

His tweet was:
Anything happen in rugby league today? …
I’ve been too busy to scratch myself …

Spot on. It’s in our best interests that Galvin doesn’t play for WT or the Magpies again. If no-one wants him this year that’s his problem, not ours. Tell him we’ll pay him but he won’t be playing for us. He’s old enough to understand what that means.
Api got questions in the press conference after the Souths game and looked sick of it imagine it is taking it's toll on the playing group
