To'a won't hit the same heights again this season unless Latu comes back and stays fit. 80% of the good ball he received was from Galvin. The other 20% from Bula. Mason won't be able to provide the same space. I've seen him in the playmaking position before and he tends to run players out of space.100% agree. Your backrower on the edge has two functions in attack. Run over the top of small halves or attract defenders so you create the overlap. Ours aren’t doing much of either this year.
To’a has been quite effective given early ball and picks his pass ok.
The best thing I can say about AD is he’s kicking goals at decent rate and his defense has improved.
There must be a bigger problemThis is ridiculous honestly - and the ball I imagine is completely in our court.
He is a class centre we desperately need, he is risky - but if he's going to succeed anywhere it'd be with his brother.
It would be a horrible decision not to take that risk, because not only do you not get a quality centre you risk losing his brother who has been very clear on how much he wants to play with his brother.
Richo has done a lot right so I'm not laying the boot in at all, but this is stupid.
That would explain it.There must be a bigger problem
Richo was keen until he meet him in person
I thought the same thing, I’d be giving him a simple instruction. If run isn’t on, catch and pass. To'a won't hit the same heights again this season unless Latu comes back and stays fit. 80% of the good ball he received was from Galvin. The other 20% from Bula. Demps,Think we've seen enough of Taylan to know he'd be our best outside back, by far.
It's actually frustrating that we are in the box seat for this type of player & we're essentially missing out [unless we aren't, which I am hopeful for]
Naden [off contract, shouldn't be offered another contract from us]
Feledy [Off contract, not top 30 quality]
Faatape [Off contract, NSW cup quality]
AD is also off contract.
Starford Toas final contract year is 2026.
Makasini isn't ready, just yet.
Staines off contract this year as well.
So our backs locked in are;
Luke Lualilii - i rate him, good prospect
Jeral Skelton - been good, injury prone
Sunia Turuva - top tier player
Starford Toa - contract season
Makasini [ zero first grade experience ]
Solomone Saukura [WHO?]
This clearly needs addressing and Tay May should've been the first step.
Saukura looks like a back rower.Demps,
Saukura is now playing second row in Flegg so not even being considered as a centre in the juniors.
Makes no sense with holding Taylan back he should have been signed and be training and playing Reggie’s the last few weeks. Sign him for a year with a club and player option based off what he brings if you want to mitigate the risk.

he’s been playing school rugby, hasn’t played any league games this year. but even in rugby he’s been killing it.For all those who follow pathways, has Makasini improved this year? Thought he might come into the frame in July / August??
Could also explain us not signing May. The sooner he’s ready the better.he’s been playing school rugby, hasn’t played any league games this year. but even in rugby he’s been killing it.
For all the people saying he’d behave cos of his brother, im skeptial. Anyone willing to throw away a plum gig in the best team of the modern era has major issues. He could have won a couple comps by now. Instead he’s posting videos on social media saying “Youz are all dogs”. Whoever youz are 🤔
yeah i thought they would’ve signed may to allow let him develop but maybe he’s closer to being ready than we know.Could also explain us not signing May. The sooner he’s ready the better.
I remember Richo saying early in his tenure you don’t sign a veteran to block a young prospect’s pathway. With To’a playing well that’s probably a genuine fear.yeah i thought they would’ve signed may to allow let him develop but maybe he’s closer to being ready than we know.
And what does "medicine" mean?the talk of manu reminds me of this 😂😂😂
why is t doing more recruitment than richo ????
Not sure tbh.And what does "medicine" mean?
Must of heard him rap. That would explain it.
Maybe he called Richo a dog.Must of heard him rap.
