Signings, Suggestions & Rumours Discussion

Doggies to officially announce galvin after origin
Richo might do the same and announce our new signing or signings soon
New signings, please that will do me... we have be hearing that same old tune for weeks now ......and crickets.
I think Richo is calling everyone's bluff on this story, i think we will hear nothing on the signing stage until after the 2025 comp is completed.

I'm certain the Knights have finally broken him....
His body language of late - you can see it's really getting to him.
A few weeks ago in a press conference with AOB after a loss, when AOB was asked if he would make changes, AOB basically said they had no one better, and Ponga, with no subtly rolled his eyes and shook his head. Maybe he should have treated himself to a strawberry milkshake.

If we obliterate qld in round 2, Laurie can call up his reserves and stragglers for soo 3 and hopefully we could see some wests tigerage in the big show.

That said, @Tucker, theres now a case for AD to play origin for his kicking skills.

We cant chill out and think kicking is optional -unless billy chooses the same soul deprived team.

The feeling is mutual im sure.

A $1.4m a season doorstop!

I seen that look on Ponga during the last knights flogging, that look of despair, and realisation that he’s wasted most of his prime years and he’s never gunna win a gf in his career at the knuts. Oh well there are 6x zeros next to that number in my bank account. And in 2.5years I could sign with someone else.
Sooner if he changes manager to Isuk Measles.

Do you think it’s OK for players to place ultimatums on the club, dictate who the club can and can’t sign and determine what their pathway to full time nrl should be? The tigers have invested in Tallan’s development and provided a clear pathway to become their first grade hooker in a reasonable timeframe learning his trade off one of the best in the game.
These comments from TDS‘s manager, which are endorsed by TDS unless he states otherwise, display the same entitlement that led to the Galvin situation:

"We can't talk to clubs at this stage but five have told me that if Tallyn goes to the marketplace, they are keen.

"It's up to the Tigers to decide what they want to do but if Api stays, chances are Tallyn will have to go."

It indicates a complete lack of respect to Api and the club. He’s already gone if that’s his attitude.
Tough one. I don't disagree with you but I also don't agree. The club is just like any work place. TDS is absolutely in is right to say "for me to work here i need X to be apart of my contract". Just as the employer has the right to reject or accept those terms. Obviously all players want to play first grade, finals and grand finals. And tigers from all reports are hard to deal with while also having poor results. Gives players alot of hand in the negotiations

I was sitting down with woofy lasf night and put the question to him Api v Tallyn.

And he had trouble with his tapping his morse code so gave me a salute with his paw.
