CEO - Shane Richardson

Is anyone else getting sick of the email for the Women's team? I mean, I'm 100% behind the womens team, but they've got to do better with their email timings with our 1st grade mens team deperate for some upgrades.

Yeah i am really sorry, i am not interested in it. We were 5-4 now looking like our season is over, we want reinforcements. Galvin has left a bad taste in my mouth. Our defence is shot and our attack is shit. Umm coke out richo and say something. I am a member

What is weak about it?
Risk v reward is about what you are willing to risk to get your reward.
Is Benji going to lead us to a premiership?
What are we willing to risk for the opportunity to achieve that?

That’s your opinion
What I think is ridiculous is changing coaches mid term,
He has a contract for a certain time to deliver on his vision let’s for once in a long time let the coach see out the contract.
He has started that contract with last place and last place.
You want to give him 2 more years even if he gets that or very close to it again?
Yes that is ridiculous.

In regards to Des and Madge even if they do get the chop I wouldn’t bring them here. We had Madge and it failed and I was one of his supporters, and Des I think sadly his time has passed. He’s been a great coach and has had some success in his career, but he’s had problems at Dogs, Manly and now Titans. I wouldn’t bring either here should they become available.
I wasn’t saying and I don’t think others are to bring them here, just stating it’s not only inexperienced coaches (Benji) teams not performing.

Until I heard from someone close to the family early in the year that he was “going back to eels” roosters was alway my pick.

Cronk has always been over the top with his compliments. Roosters fit the narrative about coaching, development, positioning, success etc.
Was never going to be Roosters coz they don’t do any business with his manager.

He is building a squad,
Sack him and start all over again and again and again.
When do they ever stop.
Let’s agree to disagree 👍

Three bottom 4 finishes in a row isn’t premature for an inexperienced coach to be moved on. How long does he need to build a roster that can evade these poor results?
We have some good young players here and some decent experience, with more on the way supposedly. He needs to turn our fortunes around this year and get close to the finals to inspire any semblance of confidence that he can go around again next year.

What if he comes 14th this year and 8th or 9th next year?

That is a risk v reward scenario you can play out.
Do we risk coming bottom 4 again next year, possibly driving some young talent away in the hope we make the 8?

We weren’t in a position to join the WNRL imho. No doubt it pulls resources from trying to fix the broken men’s program.

Richardson stated a long while ago that his WT rebuild was already well ahead of schedule and I sort of agreed. Then we moved on a couple more in Bateman and Klemmer, plus Olam's later retirement which were also contingently fine by me.

Yet I look back at the some 3 months since Klemmer last played for WT seeing a bunch of holes in needed to be filled top squad spots remain vacant throughout it, and now finally the long running Galvin debacle has ended leaves another. Richardson, as much as anyone, needs to lift his game.

Those positions are still vacant and I personally haven’t seen any absolute game changers on the market since we freed up those spots. I’m happy for Richo to fill the vacancies with quality players who want to join us. The Dogs rebuild wasn’t instantly successful either.
