KPP has potential. At times he’s looked great. Just isn’t consistent. Dylan Lucas on the other hand. We’d be cooking with gas if we got that guy.
Agree but if he came on the market the whole world would be bidding for him, the Knights will lock Dylan up for a long time.

KPP would fit in with "our style of play"
That style of play being the 20 mins we saw vs the cows
Hes been playing at the knights who are the most boring team in the competiton to watch and one of the best fullbacks in the game even looks shit there

He could definitely benefit from a change of scenery. Are we the club that can unlock him though? That will be the question asked over summer.

He’s dynamic , and I think as Toa starts to be game planned for , there will be space in the unders line in that block shape , as defences look to move early and limit Toa’s space and time on the ball .
I mean Sukkar has been dynamic as he grows into the role ( I was big on him last year . I said he would be a goodun… people mocked me for it ) , so he could provide that dynamism this year , especially if Latu and his sleight of hand are feeding the edge .

I’m not writing him off.
I do question whether he is better than Bird and Seyfarth though. If he is, then good stuff 👍🏼
As someone who has watched KPP regularly this year out of curiosity and had to watch Seyfarth and Bird, there’s no comparison. KPP beats both in the eye test and box score and it’s not really close.

KPP isn’t some elite second rower and definitely has some areas to work on but he’s only 24 and has improved as the season progressed. He makes nearly120m a game, around 36 tackles at 93% and looks very dangerous when taking on the line and has a good offload. If the figure of 600,000 being floated around is true, it’s a no brainer. Can we unlock his potential? Who knows but it’s definitely better than what we currently have.

Seyfarth gets dominated in attack and defence, is yet to crack 100m in a single game this season despite playing every round and playing full minutes and is good for at least one dumb error every game. His side is deliberately targeted by the opposition although that’s not just because of him. Don’t let his tackle stats fool you. And you can make a good case that he cost us the Warriors game.

Bird had a good start to the season but has been below average over the last 5-6 weeks and was even dropped. His discipline against the Cowboys was just the latest example.

Richo simply has to manufacture one external signing from somewhere. Best performers from Q or NSW cup, Super League, the Socceroos for all I care. Anywhere.

3 internal upgrades to replace the first grade players we have lost will be a massive failure. Mason is the only one who remotely deserves an upgrade.
Sounds like he's got that with the random Canberra cup signing.

They dubbed him the next Sonny Bill....

I don’t know why people do that . Sonny Bill was a unicorn . He played outside centre for the all blacks , and backrow in nrl . I don’t think there will ever be a Sonny bill again

Sonny Bill, so unique.
Big, fast, strong.

As you said, never seen a player like it.
Definitely not KPP.

Haas is another one.
Out and out on another level.

Lol I sure as hell wouldn’t go that far.

How many of these absurd comparisons ever actually pan out?

Richo is not going well at present , the Galvin shat was done poorly and we finish looking like clowns , we were supposed to have new signings announced weeks ago but nothing had not even a decent rumour of looks like ? Heading to tigers only KPP. But that’s old news , needs to do more

None of us outside the tent know what's going on in the club workings.
The NRL states a roster of 30 as at 30 June - that's the only certainty in whatever processes are happening.
We'll know soon enough.
And so far as the lack of depth in the roster, this is nothing new - the squad limitations were there before Richo came on board and change takes time.
As a wise man once said: "Patience."
