Lucky they shut this place down otherwise most of the people on this forum would have been admitted there, supporting this mob can do that to you.

I would imagine the place would have seen a few Balmain supporters over the years.

Notice that small room front left think that's where the shock therapy treatment gets done, probably a sign at the entrance saying Tiger's supporters new arrivals.

When I was young we (about 6 of us)used to sneak in and swim down at the Parramatta River pool they had. Never thought about the danger if they’d got their hands on us.
And believe me there were some very strange patrons in there !

Kris Kristofferson was a standout college football player and amateur boxer, with peers believing he could have turned professional in either sport.
However, a college literature professor encouraged the 21-year-old to apply for a Rhodes Scholarship to Oxford, which he won.
"It’s where I developed my love of writing, both literature and music," he later recalled of his time abroad.
After earning his degree, Kristofferson had numerous university teaching positions available but shocked friends and family by joining the Army Rangers instead.
"I came from a military family and felt a sense of obligation to serve," he explained. During his four-year service, he flew helicopters and was offered a teaching position at West Point but declined to pursue a music career.
Moving to Nashville, Kristofferson worked in obscurity until Johnny Cash recorded one of his songs, launching his rise to stardom.

RIP Kris
