We dont need another bludging pommie like kpp he is a dead set bludger always gets caught out in defence and plays when he feels he wants to no thankshe cant even make the English 30 squad.

Not sure if we have a choice, you're talking about the Tigers. Is there anyone else wanting to come to us?

We'd be paying overs already for him.

At least he's better then Seyfarth.

That’s true. He didn’t do a lot when I did see him.

Their knights don’t attack the right, Ponga, Best and Lucas are all left side - KPP shifted right side for Lucas.

Since shifting to the right KPP isn’t lazy despite alot of myths - the guy is doing what the Knights ask of him and that’s be a hitup guy. They don’t ball set plays outside bash ball on the left - halves is a major issue for them. He also often draws 2-3 defenders each time. The knights use him abit in the 25-15mtr zone and then shift next play to a right backline play.

Despite all that the guy is averaging 40 tackles (92% efficiency), 14 runs a game, 50 post contact mtrs and 110mtrs+ per game - you won’t see that average ever from Bird or Seyfarth, we don’t get that from Fainu.

Does he have weaknesses of course, his offside miss last week was blown up abit (given Api, Luai, Cleary and others have all done it late due to sin bin threats).

Immediately he is a significant uplift re output alone. I have zero doubts with Toa & Turuva outside him he will get put into holes or those outside get more space.

Is he a Fafita or Kikau I don’t see that, is he an elite no, but I do seriously think we would use him a heap better than the Knights do. For 600k or so being reported with how the market is shifting do think that’s not bad value for us.

games i've watched he never has a chance to shine because he's used only as a decoy. The youth policy that Benji n Richo pushed (edumacate the kids until they kill it as 1st graders) bodes well with him but ,the tribe is restless ,we need some hard heads ,yet their rarer than a decent 2rnd rower , to push this team forward

I can see potential in him....but have t seen.much since his name first popped up here.
Probably a case of playing in a dud team.
Probably the best realistic option for us out there...unfortunately

Someone get the Kai Wayne Pearce Paul Merlo banner ready

Richo is not going well at present , the Galvin shat was done poorly and we finish looking like clowns , we were supposed to have new signings announced weeks ago but nothing had not even a decent rumour of looks like ? Heading to tigers only KPP. But that’s old news , needs to do more

Perhaps for the first time in our history we are cashed up, with cap space, and only a moderate amount of deadwood within our roster... and we are WAITING.

Which is boring AF. But still probs first time ever.

Richo likes to be reactive in the Transfer market. We've never gone with this approach before so I'm happy to give the benefit of the doubt on this one.

I get the impression he prefers to pull the trigger on things after a win. Maybe also giving a few news cycles to avoid the impression that certain players were signed in the aftermath of Galvin leaving.

I just keep remembering back to last year. Things felt just like this we all thought nothing was happening. Then all the sudden we announced some great signings I have no doubt it’s about to happen again. Defiantly need to hear from Ricoh soon but
If I was speculating (which I am), I think he could be doing a job for PVL and Abdo with the RFL? Lining up broadcasting rights etc.

He is rumoured along with Blake Solly, to be doing some work on behalf of the NRL…specifically looking at purchasing the English Super League… I doubt this would prevent him from negotiating with potential new players ( or their managers ) though

I agree MT. When I have been able to watch the Knights,I could not believe the number of times they use him for dummy runs and pass the ball out the back. Just about all their attack is on the left and their right side catches a cold. No wonder Lucas has been playing so well, he gets all the ball.

Agree we need some hard heads preferably as middle forward,
I could see KKP and Sam Fainu with a bit of weight training to get a bit bulkier being good 80 min edge forwards.
We can not carry 3 middle forwards like May,Twal,Seyfarth
They can all play long minutes but put no fear into the opposition.
Like others on here if we do sign KKP the next step should be a couple of big dynamic middle forwards as we need to fix the middle before worrying about another Centre.
Not saying we don’t need a centre just prioritising what we need first.

Looks to me like samuela has shed some weight to play 80 mins on the edge this season, he needs to bulk back up as he is lost some impact. Maybe he should be a middle if we get a couple of quality backrowers and Sukkar is a revelation.
