The first 20 mins was a showcase of a professional outfit and it wasn't us. Poor discipline in defence (although some questionable) and mistakes. 1-on-1 missed tackle by Faataape for a try, some poor mistakes from Falls, and El Zakhem exposed 1-on-1 on the line by a rampaging Sam Hughes.
Then we got ourselves back into it with possession highlighted by fast ruck speed which built momentum and back-to-back-to-back tries.
Tuitupou was huge in the 1st half with his carries as was Rahme in both attack & defence, however both let themselves down with a bad handling error each late in the half.
Hunt got out 32 mins, strong in his carries and evident he was trying to pace his effort to get minutes. Luke Laulilii has been good, backs up well, TDS has been crafty and Luke Jack has also been a stanbdout with his intent in both his runs & tackles picking up a try from dummyhalf along the way.
Disappointed in El Zakhem so far often pushed back in tackles and some poor defensive efforts a couple of times. Peter Taateo came on late, a couple of nice carries but did not cover well for the Dogs last try which El Zakhem missed.
