If I ranked the 3 slowest wingers I have seen in the 56 years on this little rock

1 Wayne Stewart played for the Wests Panthers in the 70s ...also played for Qld and Australia Good goal kicker ...slow as lava travelling up hill
2 Wayne Bennett ....fit as ....slightly quicker than Wayne Stewart
3 Luke Covell ......enough said

As sad as this is to say we need to stop overvalued our players based on like or effort.
We have 3 spoons and are close again this year. Ad as much as I love the bloke probably doesn't start at centre for any team other then us. He has great passing ability but lacks acceleration and the footwork to make plays. Defensively I have always thought him as poor but he has fixed that somewhat this year.

The guys that are turning our club are not the old guard.

Tini, hopefully will join a list of successful purchases and unfortunately guys like ad seyfarth etc should be the ones who make way.

Looks like Richo is making good on his comment from a few weeks ago

Agree with all that PC1 but don’t think he has what it takes to play 13. You will note he invariably concedes into the tackle, never attacks the line at full speed and whilst his defence much better he’s more a scragger than a full blooded tackler.

I believe he will be picked up by another team as a back due to his ability to play multiple positions. It is a players' market with the new teams.
