Doueihi is similar to Bird. Body is too broken to play in the middle. Might be nice in theory, but will fail in execution.

Fair point but I think hes lack of speed kills him most of the time i'd be just interested to see how it would go if he just stayed in the middle third channel and didn't have to move muchhe has the ballplaying skill, but does he possess the physicality required to defend in the middle for long periods? I worry that if Campbell Graham was able to manhandle him, what could a Spencer Leniu do...
The game is changing. Say what you want about the Dogs and Ciraldo, but they have changed the way game has been played the last year or two carrying a smaller bench. If any club can afford two utilities, it’s us given how big May’s motor is.Reyno is surely a longshot although he's a Leichhardt junior so could be a fairytale finish. But if they got him it'll be Latu at 13 imo for a couple of seasons, spelling Reynolds when he's injured or suspended and taking over from there.
I don't know how the club keeps TDS and Mason in our 30 though. Two utilities and only one bench spot, which should belong to Tallyn.
Chammas said on his podcast that TDS's agent has been asking for 600k from clubs to sign him, which is a ridiculous amount for him at the moment. The only team that would be willing to offer him that sort of money is the new Perth team. After the Galvin saga, if TDS doesn't see the value working behind API then I'm happy for him to leave.
He hasn't proven himself yet and we can't have kids dictating to the club.
Someone will fill his place.
probably suggests he would only move if he got a great deal, deep down wants to stayChammas said on his podcast that TDS's agent has been asking for 600k from clubs to sign him, which is a ridiculous amount for him at the moment. How much are they willing to pay Api then? Maybe they should let him go and pick up some Super over thereChammas said on his podcast that TDS's agent has been asking for 600k from clubs to sign him, which is a ridiculous amount for him at the moment. I don't know how much they are willing to give Api, but I doubt it will be much more. When the current incumbent NSW hooker is getting 750k at the Roosters, 600k is a lot for a still unproven kid, and Latu and Sullivan are halves, so they will naturally get paid more. How much are they willing to pay Api then? WT paid the Fainu kids who hadn’t played first grade, and Bud 500k… I would offer TDS the same
Come 2027 …TDS would have had 4 years playing behind Api… probably learnt everything from him that he needs to by then…seems a smart kid
He said it so himself!.How did this get legs? He played a few games. He played 99% of his junior footy with Rovers and Kenso in the Souths comp, and represented Souths in junior reps. He's a Rabbitoh through and through.

I would also like to see him have quick PTB'S. and offloads.Id like to see AD have a shot at 13, he is too slow to be in the backline...His D has improved this year and he has the body shape with some weights to become a decent 13
How many years of an apprenticeship did the likes of Harry Grant, Jonah Pezet (still doing) & Jack Howarth do? Seems young players are happy to do their time at a club such as the Storm but not us or is it just agents holding us to ransom! How much are they willing to pay Api then? What about the Raiders with their plethora of hookers led by Starling & Pattie all happy to extend!
Personally I think it's a bit of media beat-up. Tipping both will extend.
I don't mind this... With the exception of seyfarth not being there . He should be 17 over Kit and Bird.1. Bula
2. Turuva
3. Toa
4. May
5. Skelton
6. Fainu/Mason
7. Luai
8. May
9. Api
10. Pole
11. Fainu
12. KPP
13. Douehi
14. Da Silva/Fainu/Mason
15. Twal
16. Sione Fainu
17. Kit Laulili/Bird
Douehi at 13 could potentially be a game changer, dosent have to play 80 minutes aswell got plenty of options with that bench.
Wests Tigers 🫡How many 80 minute games has Latu played at NRL level?
What professional sports team would take the risk that next year is the year he plays 80 minutes every week?
AgreeDing Ding Ding!!! The key number is 2027!
Koroisau will be 34 at the beginning of 2027 pre season. Father time waits for no man. Right now, he is still as crafty as ever, but when the drop off comes, it will be significant. Particularly in the position he plays, his size, and how the club are using him as an 80-minute speed bump. He's being beaten up with middles targeting him in the middle of the field. The drop off with Damien Cook has already been significant IMO.
If the club offers him an extension, for mine they have to be yearly. That gives the club some control. Da Silva is the multi-year contract. If Koroisau wants more security, Perth and PNG will give it to him.
Da Silva won't be short of offers. Cowboys are in the mix. Dragons are also a great landing spot for him with Cook in his final years. And he will be a great decade long #9 for the club that has him. His performances in reserve grade the last 3 games have been excellent. He's clearly a level above. His body is maturing, and he's continuing to improve.
If the club signs Koroisau, and loses Da Silva, well it tells me it's still stuck in short-termism to get results now rather than looking ahead 4 years which how every club should be looking at their roster. Haywood is still a massive unknown. A good long-term #9 is integral. They touch the ball the most in a game, they direct the play, they make the most tackles in a game. It's no surprise that Melbourne and Roosters dominated rugby league for 10-15 years with good stable #9s in Smith and Friend, now Grant for Melbourne.
On the surface everything is sunshine and rainbows ..This argument gets used all the time… why is that relative to our situation ? I just want the best outcome for the team…. I couldn’t care what less Harry Grant did
This whole “apprenticeship “ thing is BS…. Galvin who most here think is a selfish entitled so and so just walked straight into the first grade side of the team leading the comp… Why isn’t he doing an apprenticeship?
It’s obvious the Bulldogs don’t care about upsetting others in the team and moving them on … they just want to win the comp!

He might be smart, but is he big and tough enough to play 80 minutes, in the middle, in the NRL? Right now he's not.. and I don't think he's ready in another 12 months either..Come 2027 …TDS would have had 4 years playing behind Api… probably learnt everything from him that he needs to by then…seems a smart kid

I think 2028 is the year of TDS... And we can extend API till then and use 2027 as that transition year.
