Tallyn Da Silva #270

Phil stop talking in code. You either know something or you don't. which is it? Its not a game of join the dots.
I know there’s another issue behind it all.

Wouldn’t be as big of an issue outside of football.

I won’t publicly draw attention to the specific issue. But I do think there is a few who know in the game

Reading in the thread, where some of comments and theories were going. I have attempted to realign the discussion or expectations.

so the kid will leave because of what ever is his personal hick ups ..Last time i trust a junior that tells the world he grew up here n loves the club etc etc etc. Growing our team of locals is a romantic fantasy and a waste of money

It’s not that alone.

It’s a mix of the original media narrative, more game time. Etc. It’s a part of the consideration.

But internally his personal hiccups have made everything very tense. I would say the appetite to push to keep him has diminished slightly.

This is why the possible early switch has been raised. It’s the easiest option from
an overall club perspective.

What the hell are you going on about? Enemy? They are both here for the remainder of this year and all of next year.
Api will be 35 in 2027. He is not going to get better as time goes on.....
The kid will be 22 with 50+ NRL games and 2 more pre seasons under his belt by then, if used correctly.
Its a no brainer alright.
I remember when:

Liddle was the next best thing
Then along came Harry Grant (waiting patiently for Smith to retire)
Then along came the next QLD hooker God in Jake Simpkins
Then Harry Matts prodigy Talyn Duh Hi Ho Silva

Hookers need time to mature - I also remember the Brailey Brothers around the time that Liddle was the next big thing. Nowadays, they are lucky to get a run for 40 minutes each. Pushed into 1st Grade way too early and now they seem burnt out.

Meanwhile, Jeremy MK matures and, apart from injury setbacks, is now a regular, high-quality hooker.

Oh yeah - I remember Robbie Farah - alongside a prodigious talent in Benji Marshall - generational exceptions to the patience game.

Meanwhile Part II - Pass the Hooker to the left hand side .... 🤪 🍺 🐯

His move to unseat Api has backfired and made him public enemy #1

Api is the heart of the club and liked by all and thus TDS attempt to dethrone him hasn't sat well with the lads

That's my captain

Someone misread the room badly. I'm sure if his management team had their time again, that contentious it's him or me spiel, would not have been written.

What’s this innuendo you are peddling mate ? Smells like absolute butt hurt BS to me that someone is feeding you…: he has got 4 clubs chasing him apparently .. are they not put off by what you are supposedly trying to sell ?

Sure your source didn’t get mixed up with Schuster ?

Bulldogs can’t offload Reed Mahoney quick enough to secure TDS - I think Tigers are keen to let TDS talk with other clubs to thwart the Dogs - can’t have another humiliation like the Galvin job with Isak Moses licking his lips again … Gould waiting in the wings for TDS - he’s holding an Exacta bet (Galvin 1st, TDS 2nd)
You assume the bulldogs are Not cheating the cap or bending the crap out of it.

They can afford who ever they want with Third Party Deals

I can forgive him wanting to leave.
If he goes to the Cowboys he's their starter from round 1.
If he stays here a lot of things can happen in life while you're playing second fiddle for 2 years mixing with reserve graders.
It's a hard opportunity for a young bloke to give up.
