There is actually but he didn’t choose a path in Rugby league.
At their best I rate both above Starford
I still think he's too inconsistent and defensively below average if I am honest
Watch it.... That's all you can do.
The expectation from the fan base is so Low round here.
I don't know how many times I've seen it stated that
'Well, We've won more games than last year' Like it's something to brag about, I don't get it?
We bought in 4-6 Players from top 4 sides - That's a decent chunk of an NRL side.
We didn't go through what we've been through - And import who we've imported
'Just' to win a couple more games than last year....
We bought them here to challenge for the comp.
Especially this year, Penrith were looking at the spoon this time last month - Now they're in the 8
We've spent half of the season in heated debate over weather we'll let our best young talent go,
For what? Roster spots (To fill with no one) Cap relief
(That we only ever use to pay players to play somewhere else)
There's folks in the organisation higher than you or I grabbing at anything to try save face,
Is it really that different.
I don't suspect we'll challenge for the 8 this year,
And when we don't - Some real questions regarding this 'new' direction need to be not asked
- but answered.
There's lots of talk, It needs to get to the Park....

Mariner is a very good young centre and I hope we are chasing him. With Starford fingers crossed we can retain him but with the expansion teams inflating the market it is difficult. May was a fine player at the Panthers so let's hope he can recapture his form.

Ive been out of action for a week.
Can anyone give me an update if i've missed something.
I just watch 360... So Bula is out for 4 weeks..... And TDS is as good as gone and we are letting him
go now? Is that right? It's gone from not extending if api extends to release him now?

Oh and we have Manly on Friday night wih a pissed off Tommy Turbo being moved to the centres.
Never a dull moment.
There's like 7 hookers named on benches this weekend. Plus there is another 5 specialist (but not particularly good) halves named on benches that will probably be interchanged through dummy half assuming no injuries.
Hmm let’s see.
Panthers and Bulldogs 1 specialist half each.
Manly and Tigers 1 Specialist Hooker each
Raiders 1 Specialist Hooker, Knights Full forward bench
Broncos 1 Half/Hooker and Warriors 1 Specialist Half.
Dragons 1 Specialist Hooker, Eels 1 Lock Utility
Dolphins and Bunnies 1 Specialist Hooker each
Storm and Sharks -1 Half Utility each
Titans and Cowboys - Full forward bench each.
6 Specialist Hookers
1 Half/Hooker
3 Specialist Halves
2 Half Utilities
3 Full forwards
1 Forward utility
if less than 50% of teams are naming a hooker doesn’t that indicate it’s not as common as it used to be.

With the make up of our roster we need a 14th at can cover multiple positions. By playing a specialist no9 as our 14 we are taking a massive gamble that no back is forced out of the game. That is why Mason has the potential to be a very effective no14. Although at present we need to select our best 17 players and TDS is certainly in the 17, so he should get the 14 role at present

Manly have tabled a 3 year deal for TDS.....he doesnt want to leave Sydney......Its Manly or the Eels....or GUS 🙂

Still under 30 (just).
Good for him, he has crafted a decent career out of pretty stock standard talent...including 2 premiership rings.
It just shows if you fully committ you can achieve in this game.
I honestly have never really rated him but he's had a good run, well done to him.
Sounds like the next club will be ordinary so the good days of finals are over.
