If Benji is true to form he probably won't.So disappointing… why bother playing him even

It looks very ugly dosn't it. The fans have put up with so much.I kind of understand that they don't make decisions based on fans and members, but surely someone from management is considering how this looks to the supporter base and how it will feel. You can't just put your head in the sand, and I'm hoping there is a lengthy explanation as to why this has gone down like this.
Galvin I get and was happy to see the back of, but I'm very confused why we wouldn't make tds see out his contract at the very least.
Did he drop the ball over the try line, or was it that he just failed to single-handedly win them the game ? 🤣 🤣 🤣dogs fans not happy with Galvin tonight…
Just for 2026 tooCobbo >> Dolphins
Next year if Brisbane don’t agree to release him before June 30.
Stef & Papali’i haven’t been a loss at all. Ontoni has been lost to rugby now. After tedesco and Moses we were led to believe that will never happen again so under richos tenure we've lost Stefano, ontoni large, Papalii Galvin and now De Silva, in my opinion Richardson is up there with the worst CEOs in this joint ventures history
Just 1 year deal? Maybe Perth Bears is on the Horizon..Just for 2026 too
Is Ava Seumanufagai coming out of retirement to rejoin us?I get the feeling that Richo is close to getting a deal done for a “big name” player.
🤞😂🤪
Fifita is the only one there that improves our side. I don't hate the other suggestions and realise they are depth suggestions but our side still needs a couple more top 17 guys before considering depth blokes.Jayden Berrell isn't a bad player to have in the squad. High effort players to bring in when injury hits is a good idea.
I like Lachlan Ilias as an addition as well- even just as our back-up half option. Offers experience & versatility.
We really lack 1-2 impact players (assuming Taylan May is signed into next season).
David Fifita is still the guy I want most as our #13 next season. About the only player available that can dominate on the field.
I'd still take Sloan if the money was right. At worst, he competes with Skelton for a wing position. Automatically backs up Bula. He's got that natural athletic ability along with his speed. 23, so entering his best years & already 70 games under his belt. Just has to be on the right kind of money- you don't break the bank on him.
I've already suggested Freddy Lussick, who I think would be an incredible option at #14 for us if TDS is off.
Fifita, Sloan, Lussick, Ilias... Jaiyden Hunt. You can add that prop from the Bulldogs Maiu'u for his athletic ability too.
KPP & Taylan May
Makasini comes into the mix at some point.
Number one thing we need is a ball playing middle. It's made a world of difference to Parra getting Walker into that role, it's something we severely lack.Fifita is the only one there that improves our side. What did you think they would be talking about? The NRL would become even more of a joke if they allow this to happen - this has escalated from WT allowing TDS to "talk " to other clubs to now clubs offering 3 year deals 18 months in advance.
Not a crack at you but - worst CEO?After tedesco and Moses we were led to believe that will never happen again so under richos tenure we've lost Stefano, ontoni large, Papalii Galvin and now De Silva, in my opinion Richardson is up there with the worst CEOs in this joint ventures history
It's bloody ridiculous hey. I guess it's only because we allowed him to talk now. But I don't see why the club couldn't tell his manager to get back to them in November and they'll talk about it then. Why always allow these distractions during the season. It boggles my mind. If we win tonight we're still in touch with the 8. Just tell Dasilva to focus on the season and worry about 27 in November. Other thing that aggrevates me is other clubs have juniors willing to wait and learn. Ours seem to think they can dictate when they play and how they play. The NRL would become even more of a joke if they allow this to happen - this has escalated from WT allowing TDS to "talk " to other clubs to now clubs offering 3 year deals 18 months in advance.
The position on the ladder is completely different though if a few calls go our way in 2 - 3 games. That's the main difference this year. We're in the fight virtually every week. Every other year we're planning for the following season after round 8 or so.Not a crack at you but - worst CEO?
Stefano - no better since joining Storm. We get May - win for us.
Papalii - was under-performing most times here. No better at Panthers. We've now got KPP from 2026. Hopefully a win for us.
Galvout - should have been born a sapper in medievial times the amount of under-mining he did here. good riddance.
TDS - appears he is a half-clone of Galvout. We don't want me first players at the club. We've had too many in the past (ironically including our current coach).
Large - who knows if he will aspire to anything. No loss imo.
Our position on the ladder is once again a bitter pill to swallow but I believe there is a positive change - the results could have been oh so much better in some games but we've only really had two poor turnouts the whole year.
Spot on KC. Player swaps sound good in theory but rarely happen.
1 Needs the agreement of both clubs & both players. 2 Player has to fit the profile of the club.
It is seen as better to release the player, open up a roster spot & cap space & go to the full market.
Like the Galvin situation, the club will likely ask for $$$ as a transfer fee.
That is all.
Freeing up salary cap is fine, but for what. I'm still waiting for the three signings that were supposed to be announced that Richo spoke about on James Graham's podcast. You won't find a bigger Richo supporter than me, iv been telling everyone I know for years we needed Richo at the club from while he was at Souths. But to throw that out there just to make the fan base feel better while all the Galvin stuff was happening was really poor form.I can understand the club wanting to back Api.... but there is 0 reason to let TDS go early, ESPECIALLY without getting something back
They'll say it frees up salary cap but that's BS, it weakens our squad for no reason. I don't get it
What I keep thinking is if Benji is tapped on the shoulder at some stage and a new coach is brought it and we let Dasilva go cause it's what Benji wants. In 2 years. We don't have Benji, we don't have Api and we don't have Dasilva. It would be a typical Wests Tigers move of the past admin.I kind of understand that they don't make decisions based on fans and members, but surely someone from management is considering how this looks to the supporter base and how it will feel. You can't just put your head in the sand, and I'm hoping there is a lengthy explanation as to why this has gone down like this.
