I think it's important the business side the club needs cash flow to help build and spend money on the football department
Yes, but I think we should look at many options. Members are a good untapped resource.

You’d be surprised how many millionaires support the side. We are not all trailer park residents, stocking up on grog for breakfast.

Weve been told for a long time.now its much more than a game...its big business as well...i really dont get poopys pov

What's ambiguous about my perspective?

I don't care about whether the club is turning a profit if it keeps losing. I am a fan of the team.

Can you make an argument that a club with the lowest revenue in the league turning a $1m profit is likely to generate success on the field?

Because I can make an argument that success on the field will increase revenue and therefore profit.

And the HBG itself makes profit. Richo admitted on 360 tonight the club won't "owe" the HBG anything anymore.

Which implies they are trying to trade their asset as cash positive.

Which defies the argument they are interested in its success.

They are merely interested in unburdening themselves of it.

To them the club is nothing more than a way to win boozy lunches.

They are idiots.

They have reduced turnover amongst the staff to the lowest in the league.. they all want to stay and work with Richo
Yeah, I want a job ignoring members emails too!

I heard he used to be a f-head to staff at the Panthers, but he’s cooled it a bit.

Pascoe had some very heated moments with players. He really knew how to hate on. Never helped!

Mate… the staff turnover at WT is much lower than HBG …. Burgo looking for some pointers from Richo on how to improve things …

I don’t disagree with you ..but nothing is changing anytime soon

What has that got to do with the ability of our team? I couldn't give a rats what Richo claims in his financial reports - that is the responsibility of the boad and the owners. I took form it that Richo was explaining where the clib had been and what was required to turn it around in chronological order. That aligns with the timelien we are seeing for turning the joint around on the paddock. Too many of what I have done as opposed to where the club is going on the paddock for me. However, it has provided backgound and given an insight into the performace timeline - aiming for Top 8 in 26.

People of Campbelltown are not trailer park residents drinking grog for breakfast

Well if it's true Simon Cook has resigned maybe the next HBG CEO will have a different strategy for managing the football team.

It boggles my mind that an NRL side is treated like a burden to a company but that is how the HBG treat the Wests Tigers. The Wests Tigers are probably the best value content brand in Australia given how much free press it generates. If their owners had some vision and courage...

You have said it yourself … their business is running poker machine palaces … not making sporting teams successful …

You raise some interesting points.

I think the overall solution is an elected board.

Democracy is not perfect, but it gives us a means to make people accountable.
