Signings, Suggestions & Rumours Discussion

Sukkar is ok for depth, but needs to show more if he is to play NRL and help us win games more regularly.
As for Lebanese players, I’m a big fan of Alex Twal, he never lets us down and we would not have won on Sunday without the control and goal kicking from Adam Doueihi.
Some I won’t name think he’s hopeless, take up your argument about him with them.
In addition to these players, we have Jaxson Rahne also of Lebanese descent playing for our NSW Cup team, he’s been playing well all season and he’s more ready to play NRL than a few others that have been getting selected ahead of him,
Finally I also agree Alex Seyfarth always does his job, particularly as a middle forward off the bench, he was strong again on Sunday.
From what i have read on the KOE thread is that most of them have been stepping up. Boads well for our apparant lack of depth. Go threw the 17 teams in NRL and apart from parra or dragons who are NRL known players.

A lot of talk about Bula lately. I really like Bula and think he's got plenty of upside but I
wouldn't mind us having a chat to Will Kennedy if IM is going to be a issue. In saying that,if Bula wants
to stick around i'd like us to make (even though he's always injured) a back up in Kade Dykes.

I don't understand all the talk around Kobe Hetherington. I'd rather Jack Hetherington,Adam
elliot and Ethan Bullemor. Even for depth. I know we need edges but we need some depth too.
I don't think it would cost over the top.

A lot of fondness for Will Kennedy. I don't believe he will leave the Sharks, nor should he because he has been a fine player for them. It was John Morris who selected Will Kennedy for his first NRL game. Good vision from him. Also his father, Bubba Kennedy, ex Balmain centre is still playing in Group 10 at the age of 50. Well done!

Morris needs to make a phone call and see if their is any interest in joining us , absolutely worth the call , $ 700 lands him I think and would be well worth it , very good player

Can't blame journos printing stories that are often just a thought, and or what could or might happen when readers then give it oxygen re. Bula. It's nuts.
Generally speaking he has been a great addition to our squad - rated more highly by some than others - aren't they all!! - and no doubt the club will do their best to retain him when the time comes.

Once you take that money out, those not in your top 17 shouldn't be on too much. A handful on minimum and a few more on 200k.
The good clubs get real value out of their players on 150-300k.
The fact we pay the likes of Naden, seyfarth and twal 400-500k says a lot about why our cap is in such a mess.
Except our cap isn't a mess.

We've had money for a couple of seasons now, I mean, we threw a lazy $1 million at an unproven 19 year old two months ago, after already paying his halves partner $1.2 a year...

Our Top 30 has been clogged with non-first graders - that's been the key issue for mine and it appears as from '26, we finally will start to have some breathing space and have spots to fill.

That is where the hangover of the past regime is STILL biting us for a little while longer, whether people care to admit it at all.

this forum has straight up lost its marbles wanting Will Kennedy
This is the guy that made the forum lose its marbles? Not Hetherington, or Fifita, or the crap May brother, or the myriad of other atrocious suggestions? Kennedy is one of more sane suggestions. We just don’t really have a place for him.

yeah they’re all pretty bad takes, but even sharks fans barely tolerate Kennedy
