I’d personally rather Taylan in the centres with Skelton on the wing but we need Douhei for his goal kicking.

if we sign a proper ball playing lock there should be no reason to be a bottom 8 side anymore

Our issue is not 1-12. It is 13-26 or so where we lack quality or in some instances, anyone. The first 6 weeks this year we were good with our 'best' 13. But players get tired, they need rest weeks, you get injuries, but many of the guys in our best 17 are barely up to it as it is before we get to the rest.

If Bullemore or Elliot came, they would start every game they were fit. Whether you rate them or not, they are a step above many of our forwards. We need guys of this calibre in our squad each week over guys like Kit, Charlie Murray, Seyfarth, and Sukkar (respectfully..I know he has growing support here).

I mean, I can understand AD making the call, as he has basically been told by the club he is unwanted … Bula is a different story and has been well treated and well paid by the club …now his next deal has to get negotiated in a pretty toxic environment

When he hired Moses Sheens was around. Sheens and Moses are chummy. And Sheens is who unearthed Bula. It makes perfect sense from Jahream's perspective.

It’s highly unlikely we sign someone with the status of Tino, but if we added him to our current middles, we would easily have the best middle forwards in the NRL.

Kennedy is a significant upgrade on Bula. It's not even close.

At this point in time yes; next year???
Who knows what another off season will produce from the younger players, who knows what will 'fall from the trees' and who knows what motivation a 30+ forward on the decline has. I say let's stick with the process and get away from signing older players that other clubs don't want.

Difficult to say Sheens ‘unearthed’ Bula.
He came along to training with a mate that was at the tigers. Sheens just happened to be in charge at the time. But did say he was impressing the coaching staff.
PS I’m a Sheens admirer for what he did for the club overall.
