Fair enough, and out of curiosity, the upgrades haven't been approved yet and let's say sometime in the next year or so they get approved and another few years go by for us to increase our revenue.

It is a long term strategy, but how is helping our current issues?

Yeah …that’s true … you gotta start somewhere though … I guess it will give him an opportunity to play more games at Commbank or Accor in the meantime which is an easy lay up to increase the revenue in the meantime … personally I’m not a fan as I hate giving away a home ground advantage …

I don’t often see people wearing our colours but when I do they are usually being hurled out of a pub because they are off their face at midday or they are wandering around scabbing cigarette butts off the ground and donkey rooting them from the one they already have going.
I give them a nod…
Maybe they found their jerseys in the trash after the Tommy Raudonikis tribute game.

We already "started" a long time ago. The CoE grant was huge that Pascoe delivered.

Did the owners invest more into WT at the time? No.

Right now we've got possibly the best team we've had in the last 7+ years. We've got CoE, we've got a great administrator. Shouldn't the time to invest more into the club be now? Shouldn't we be hiring sports psychologists, better sports physios, head of performance, invest more into healthcare across the pathways, better coaches etc? You can't get all that until you're putting $$ into the Club.

Instead, at least from the outside looking in, it seems like they just want to let things run as they are. Keep asking sponsors, corporates and govt for more money, but not invest that back into WT but increase profitability of HBG. Because, it's risky to put $10m into WT, again it's their perogative, it's their money.

But how can we compete with other clubs that are putting millions more like the Laundys at Bulldogs, Broncos, Souths and now even Penrith?

The ladder position doesn't affect their $$, whether we are 17th or 10th. Putting in a lot more money means you need guaranteed top 4 spot or something to attract more sponsors, and it's a risk they don't want to take.

you asked me about the Campbelltown upgrade, and that was what I was referring to and now you are talking about other things

You are echoing other things I have already mentioned … the club should put more money in , but they will never be on a level playing field as most of the other clubs IMO…

At the end of the day ..I don’t even know if the owners main motivation is trying to win the competition or just existing with them contributing as little as possible

Richo has said in passing representations “grass is grass”

That indicates he’s not a “home grounder”

Mmm.

He’s definitely a “corporate boxer”.
he s a money [This word has been automatically removed] - he should be getting Campbelltown , up graded . He's 360 interview was weak , questions were weak, the media might just be coming around , Then we start winning

We've been working towards increasing revenue for a while, and again, if the owners are waiting to increase revenue before putting more money in, it's not going to happen.

The Campbelltown stadium strategy makes no sense. We are barely getting 10k there and you want upgrades there? No way. And even with upgrades, how is that going to increase WT revenue.

Govt partnerships are for communcal facilities and we've already got the CoE.

Sponsorships and corporate revenues will come slowly over a long period of time.

All of this has been in motion for ages, but hasn't yielded results.

I'm not saying the owners need to fork out more money because they've had plenty of time to do so and haven't. Their answer to success has been to keep changing people, not to invest more.

The owners are answerable to the $$ and NRL clubs are not profitable. Even if Richo goes and gets another million dollars in revenue, they're just going to put it in the profits, they're not going to invest much of it back in the Wests Tigers. Remember a few years ago when we were one of the very few profitable clubs?

The issue here is that $$ is dictating their decisions and not excellence. The winning Clubs chase excellence and then the money follows. We are an unprofessional club because we don't chase excellence, high performance or the elite win at all costs attitude.
What you’re essentially pulling for is new ownership, before the independent review, so was I.

I think we should give the new brigade some time before the pitchfork action.

Changing owners is much like changing names. The priorities are off.

I don't know what the solution is either.

I think we have a two year window while Luai, Api and May are here to make something, get into the Top 8 at least but unless proper support is given, what else can they do?

We've done a hail mary with Benji, we need some success with him here otherwise the progress we've made will go to waste and we're back to re-build, change names on the Board etc..

Only blind luck can help us now..

I’m half way through 360.

I’ve raised what I see are his main inconsistencies and his biases.

And we found out he hadn’t secured the leadership group which he chose over a local junior!

To me, that’s kind of putting the cart before the donkey.

And stranger still, he talks about being hurt by Galvo’s betrayal but he’s left the door wide open for further hurt from Api and JL.

I think if this was the plan, Api should have been signed before TDS was shown the door. That said, woofie and I, we preferred TDS and evolving power instead of devolving it to select players.

I don’t think any of the big clubs have this clique policy.

It may work, but it’s not without risk.

Anyway, I’m making observations. I’m not praising or condemning him.

Note that he’s controlling the topics and driving the messages along. They can’t handle him so far lol.

galvin i understand n glad ,letting TDS go ?, glass half positive , failure , not convincing that kid with all his love for the club not to stay is WOW. even putting aside the new age million $ brat scenario . Ive a 1000 fold more believe in this mob doing a better job in half the time Pascoe n his fiasco band did

We are still contracted to play 4 at Cambo next year...curŕent contract ends 26
And I have a very strong suspicion that will be the end of games at CSS...at least for the foreseeable future... and... Richo already knows this.
Think about it 🤔.

Ive thought a lot about it
NSW govt already coughed up 70m for rhe junior academy

Fed govt if they were going to do anything wouldve made it an election promise the recent fed election

Local govt...pfft

Long odds they get anything ....theyll need to make a decision on where for 27 before june next year

Galvo had to go. We let go of him lightly, so I’m thinking maybe his bullying claim had legs? I don’t know the specific allegations or facts.

But we know we had refused to release him many times previously, so he became empowered at some point.

I’m pretty sure we leaked the Benji complaints not Team Galvo to drum up sympathy.

Even if I don’t think Benji is the right coach for us, it should never have been raised by Galvo. Dog act.
